My dealer stocks champion WP2, they swear by it as does another 40yr moto mechanic (family friend). I run that just for ease of use when I go in the dealer to BS every couple of saturday's.

my riding bud has run this for decades. 6 months ago, we did the first top end on his 300XC at 255 hours. everything looked new. no marks or sign of wear on piston or cylinder. average amount of carbon on the head. average carbon on the power valve parts. if I didn't have 10 cases of Mobil! MX2T I would run this stuff.

Need special socket to get Rad cap off😂… WMR going to spin some up…. Reading manual now… 60:1… I might settle for 50:1 … Might throw my cone valve forks on for first few rides to eliminate the Aer fork variable at first…ordered KtM hard parts composite MX skid plate, showing not available until January? Wonder if same as the stock XC plate? Manual states bike comes with long throw grey throttle cam or “guide plate” as manual calls it. My throttle cam is white? And no black throttle cam included with bike? Maybe the SX only has 1 throttle cam?

Tpi bikes came with both cams and the slow one was installed which is opposite of how the four strokes are.

I put about an hour and a half on mine today, mine also did not come with an extra throttle plate. (cam). So far I really like the bike. I just started to work on dialing in suspension It’s extremely responsive, and crisp. I am running 40-1 for now at least till it gets some break in time on it. Zero smoke once it starts to warm up.

I run vp110 in my bikes. Would this be an issue with this bike?

Why do you run 110 in your bikes? I think t4 is better for stock or slightly mod 4 stroke race bikes.

To answer you question, 110 won’t hurt anything on the bike if you use a good oil.

It's just at a local gas station near me. It's either 87 non eth or vp110. I refuse to run anything eth. In anything I own.

You could mix the 87 and 110 to get whatever octane you want. I mix 90 non ethanol with 110. We can’t get 87 no ethanol here.

I have heard 2 strokes benefit from some lead. I think it stops detonation better than the octane suggests.

Is the air filter a new part number on the '23s? I'll be joining the club next week with a TC250.

I definitely get that. I’m the same way with everything I own minus my truck.

I have around 3 hours on mine now and still very pleased. Changed the oil today, all looks good. Runs great, handles nice. Still dialing in the chassis. I have a Supercross track at home, but today rode more outdoor style. Bikes a blast.

God I hope mine shows up this week! It’s been getting great reviews. I cannot imagine a better machine that my current 21 with a built 300 by twisted. The motor is absolutely perfect. But nothing beats that new bike feel.

Your post had me look this NXA article on fuels up. Glad I did as I was unaware VP has T4 specific for four strokes. BTW, how much is VP110 these days?

FYI. The routing of this hose is gonna be an issue. It runs on the cyl head. I made a temporary protector for it till I find a actual hose protector.

It looks like hose ends are pushed on pretty far on the fitting.

Try backing the hose out 1/4 inch and see if it will give you more clearance. You are on KTMtalk aren’t you?

I also found the engine map selector switch wiring was rubbing on the front brake cable behind the number plate. So I rerouted that stuff to keep it from happening. Just an FYI for you guys that are getting them.
