With Eli contracted to only race SX, possible for he to be an SX champion and walk away or is there no longer an SX champion (or MX champion) and only the SMX Champion?

I searched the other threads and my ADD stopped me from watching the PR.

This reminds me of the old "world" sx champion back in the early 2000's where they added a couple of extra rounds to the SX schedule. Only way Heath Voss could ever bet RC.

I can't believe they're going forward with that name. Call it the grand nationals, like it is.
Speaking of semantics, now that feld and mx sports are working together, call we start calling triple crown individual races by their real name? Motos

...And to answer the OP's original question, yes - there could be 3 champions on 450s. (Assuming that's what you meant, tonyd.) If a rider takes 2nd in both MX and SX, but outscores either of the champions in those disciplines, he may collect enough of the "Super" championship points to be crowned the Super Motocross Champion. (That's how I understand it.)

It will be the first time in History if we get a 1M and a 1S number plates in the premier class. Only ever existed in 125, (now 250f) class.

Side note: Last year we would've seen that happen.

Let us remember back when Broc was the 500 MX Champion and David Bailey won the Grand National Championship.
Broc had the traditional yellow plate and David on the blue plate, both with a number 1.
