To be perfectly blunt... my interest level is about 5. I'm a bit miffed that their end game is to compete head to head with the nationals. Also, this is not a knock on any of the teams/riders....but at least for now, the top cheese ain't really playing.

I do like that they have Fro and Ralph announcing.

As to this comment: "Supposedly a big announcement coming soon with awesome ways to watch worldwide. We will see how that plays out."

I have PTSD after hearing that said about the Nationals this year.

I can't believe they don't have the TV/Streaming info out there yet.
They have to compete with someone.

Totally New championship... only TWO rounds... tons of cash behind the series...
They should Just have it for free on their youtube channel. Honestly. At least for these two rounds

I’m expecting that it will be free.

I mean with the first round only a week away, I doubt they’d leave it that late for a paid service, and they’re previous promotions have been on free to air TV.

It’s going to be funny by next year. Feld will only have about half of their riders when WSX poaches to the full extent. Once your field becomes injury depleted mid season, you will literally have one or two fast guys riding around to collect points and bonuses. WSX safely on track to destroy Felds little monopoly

Me and given that it's in Cardiff I'd throw in a bit of Woodstock '99 too.

I just can't seem to care. I'll watch it if it's free. I'll probably go ride, or work on the track or bikes and watch a replay. Maybe.

WSX goes belly up before it gets off the ground for next year. You can go ahead and stamp that.

Starting to think these guys should have purchased the rights to WSX and kept it quiet... then guerilla marketed a bunch of races around the globe offering to help riders/teams with costs as invitationals, shown off the experience and what they could offer different and then put forth an actual 6 race series that has no overlap.

I just think the team/rider/contract issue has backed them into a corner now. They've got an uphill battle to win everyone over, that's for sure.

I'd bet on quite the opposite.

That’s the point. Everyone that you are referring to here is a huge “moto” fan.

Outdoor motocross is the soul of this sport and real fans should want to protect that and want to see all the best riders compete against each their for a title, even if it’s not in their backyard.

Anything else is selfish and poaching is a lame way to go about conducting your life.

In my opinion the intense SX/MX schedule is doing more to hurt MX than WSX ever will. Tomac and Webb are now supercross only and those are two of the hardest workers in the sport. Doesn’t that say something about your precious MX series?

If guys want to skip MX to go race WSX during the off season of SX then why not? They’re probably the guys that are going to opt for SX only contracts anyways so at least we get to see them racing more often.

“want to see all the best riders compete against each their for a title,” - correct.

And forever we’ve had half the world’s best in America all summer and the other half of the worlds best travelling Europe all summer. So when are these guys going to pull their finger out and put ALL of the worlds best together??

What if WSX can do that?

Furthermore- we regularly read on this very forum how MXGP riders aren’t getting paid and it sounds like Pro Motocross isn’t much better…
So isn’t competition good??

One or more of these series has to improve working or pay conditions sharpish if they don’t want to lose their performers.

1. How do we watch this?

2. Why is it mostly US riders in the "World" supercross race? Are they going to make allowances for other nations soon as attrition happens?

Are they aiming to have music/FMX and SX all in one night? Seems like they are trying really hard to be like F1. The thing about an F1 race is, the race is the headliner. The weekend is filled with qualifying, club races and events over four days

Anywho - How are we going to watch this?

Moto in October. I'm Jonesin' No more Monster Energy SX. Straight Rhythm will be cool. More is best.

Yep I’ll watch WSX, be at RBSR, World Vet and Day in the Dirt. In between I’ll be getting rides in at Pala and catching whomever is practicing on the SX track. For me, the more the better. See you at A1, 2, Aand SD.
