Saw on MXA interview that Justin Cooper said he had Covid this year during nationals and that’s why he struggled some. Don’t want to get all political, my thought though is why take chance off giving it to others, specifically Eli who was in a title hunt. Even though I’m different rigs or whatever. I would think Bobby would tell him to stay home a week.

The CDC themselves even say you don't have to isolate after 5 days so long as you don't have a fever so it's not really a big deal that he raced.

With as little as a 3 day turn around on going from a positive to a negative COVID-test, J-Coop probably stayed home a couple days and then got back to work like millions of us had to do these past few years.
He then had to physically deal with the fatigue and other post COVID symptoms while still training and racing 2 30+2’s on Saturdays.
It actually makes sense now that towards the end of the season he was looking like his prior self again.

He most likely had Covid during a break and followed proper protocols and raced before he was 100% recovered. I had Covid (only had cold-like symptoms) and raced a 1-hour GP a week later and had no energy. Took me a few weeks to recover 100%.

And I didn’t include any political views and didn’t want any as I don’t care one way or another. But I guess ore Covid everyone always was sick during SX from all the travel, and probably still are, just nobody mentions it like they used to.

I saw on his chick's insta story that they both got super sick after Unadilla. She also posted that they were both tested and negative. But it explained the lackluster results at Budds and Ironman. Regardless, Outdoors is over so what does it matter now? The team obviously knew he was sick and let him race. Did someone from the Star Personnel die from Covid?

remember in '98 when Jordan played with the flu, damn near stumbling around the court and had a legendary performance and they still show the highlights to this day and nobody was scared about how "the flu" might kill everyone in the stadium?

I do.

Dumbgeon.... We have learned enough of how these threads go the past 3 years, we have had enough of them. With this being past tense, and really does not matter, this is a lame attempt at trolling shitty discussions we have had enough of. Lame dude.....

He had it during the break, tested positive around Loretta’s time and I think he was negative by the time we got to Unadilla. Someone on the team had told me there was a chance he wasn’t lining up at Unadilla if he was still positive.
