Anyone interested in trading the lowered suspension off the 23 Husky 350? I just got my Husky and looking to trade my shock, link and knuckle and forks for the KTM standard height kit. Thanks!

That is still 10mm lower? I already have low Husky suspension but I’m looking for standard height.

I’m kind of bummed they are sticking with the lowered suspension on the Husqy. Would prefer a Husqy but will be going orange (quickly changing plastics and seat cover). I don’t really like the KTM front fender either but that’s all cosmetic. Not into the lowered suspension even if it is only 10mm.

I'm thinking the FX models are not lowered but need to confirm

You're correct, the FX/TX models are not lowered

I put another 30 minutes on the 350 today. The forks leaked even more air today, the air pump is impossible to get on the valve without leaking all the air out of the forks. The motor is freaking awesome but stalls a ton. I love the motor. Everything else, not so much.

This gadget is a requirement if you have air forks.

Anyone having decel popping?

Hoping its just an exhaust leak and not the mapping.

It’s lean I bought an ecu from twisted and it’s incredible now unfortunately you cannot remap the new ecu so unless it’s bothering you that’s the fix

It’s the mapping. The stock mapping sucks big balls. I just got my Twisted Vortex in the mail Monday. I’ll get to ride it this weekend and give some feedback. The Vortex made a world of difference on the 21 350 I had.

And fork height, 5mm?
Stock mine was set on the second line and it kept wanting to wash out leaving turns. I dropped them to the first line and it’s way better! This is with the stock air stuff still in it. I get to drop her off Sunday to have the KYB stuff put in but I think the fork height will still stay the same.

The guys who have a vortex/twisted map, is there any resolution to the stock map selector issue? I've struggled with flameout/stalling.

I just emailed KTM customer service to see if there are any factory remaps that they're going to offer. They struggled to unlock my bike's ECU at the dealership. If I can save $1000 and not have to buy a vortex ECU that would be preferable.

Not yet. I contacted Vortex about a month ago and they said they were still developing a model that will work with the 23 but they didn’t have a timeline. I went with a mapped vortex from Twisted also and just removed the selector switch.

The mapping is so much better with the Vortex and it has adjustability. You really don't need the selector switch unless you want the KTM gimmicks. It seems like KTM was too focused on adding the electronic gimmicks that they forgot to tune this thing before it released.

Hi,
Just placed an order for mine which will arrive in about 3-4 weeks. Availability sucks in the east side of the world not only for the 350 but for all the 2023s KTM range. Hopefully there wont be a delay. The last I owned and rode a KTM was the 08 450sxf with PDS linkage, that bike sucked and have been on Yamahas since. Since getting older with age, getting the 350 would be a good idea since I'm tired of wrestling with the 450. 😅
I'm about 220 pounds with full gear 38yo/C rider. Would the stock shock spring be too soft or do I need to go to a stiffer spring rate? 240-48Nm? Appreciate the suggestions.

You’ll probably need to stiffen the rear shock 2 rates from stock

Thanks for the screenshot. Any idea whether the weight of the rider as per the manual is with gear on or no gear? Thanks again

I got to race the 23 350 this weekend in a hare scramble. Bike is set up for Vet MX so it was kind of stiff through the palmetto roots. It ripped through the sand whoops and rollers. Square edge stuff might need a little fine tuning but it was pretty awesome for the first time out. Bike has KYB technical touch fork conversion, revalved shock and a Vortex ignition mapped for VP T4. Holy shit, this bike rips with the Vortex. I couldn't believe how much faster than stock this thing is.
The forks are so much better than the AER. The bike held up in the stroke while still being plush at the top. The AER felt like I had to keep it lower on air pressure to keep it plush but then it would lose the hold up, push the front end and get harsh at the bottom. Not having to check air pressures are worth it alone. The shock was an improvement and the bike felt really compliant. Bike had 3.5 hours on it when I hit practice. Overall, it feels like the last generation 350 just better. More comfortable and faster. With the Vortex, it revs to the moon and its pulling the whole time. I have an Akrapovic Evo exhaust sitting at the dealer that I cant wait to put on this thing. Its great the way it is but I assume the exhaust will give her a little more oomph.

I still can't believe people have been selling their 23's. This bike is freaking awesome!

Anyone have any idea where I could find frame guards for the 23? Lost my left side one yesterday. Evidently stock ones are backordered until December 9th. Acerbis appears to have them now but their site says 3-5 days before it even ships. Tried to call them and got a voicemail saying they’re only working part time right now.

Parts availability is the only downside to this bike. The chassis issues are exaggerated in my opinion. It’s a little more rigid but gets better with every ride.

I agree on the comment about people selling their 23s. I have 1.5 hours on my 23 husky 350 and would take it all day over my 19 KTM 350.

Going to put my spring forks on this week.

Still looking for a KTM stock link if anyone has one for sale? I don’t want the -10mm husky setup.
