Started smelling it pretty good last night before bed , and this morning it was a little hazy. Just within the past hour , the smoke rolled in thick. Ships on the river blowing the fog horns. I couldn't even see Washington across the river and the sun is completely hidden. Any of you guys getting this too?

That's the dang sun!! Real light pink. No clouds , this is just smoke. Supposed to be mid 90's again today too.

We’ve had some poor air quality for a couple of weeks. Doesn’t look quite as bad as your pictures right now, but we’ve been in the ‘hazardous’ zone off and on for a while now.

Well, stay safe. The family and I got caught in a couple of those fires in Idaho years ago. It ain't no joke.

Right now I’m about ten miles north of the Idaho Canada border and it’s smoky here but was worse a couple days ago they tell me . Moon was big and red last night .

Dang Rick , is that right next to your place? I had a close call last year at this time where some people in an abandoned lot set fire to it. It's about 2 square acres , nothing but tree's and shrubs and it bursted in flames while they were trying to lite a camp fire.....in town ( In July! ). It was sketchy. Me and my neighbors got our rigs ready to throw whatever we could in there and just run , but luckily the fire dept go it put out in time.

This one here is a little closer than the other ones , but it just started last night I guess. That may be where a lot of our smoke is coming from now.

My view of the moon last night was the same! Blood red! Today a bright pink when I could see it. Kinda weird seeing it like that.

I heard from someone in Estacada yesterday that said a lot folks were evacuating that area due to fires spreading rapidly.

It's a little nastier outside today , as the smoke has sort of come down since it's cooled off. We could really use some rain. Not just for these fires , but for us fisherman that need the dang fish to come in! On the forest fires , I hope they get these under control. 2 - 3 years ago was really , really bad! Lots of people lost their homes , including my cousin Darren. Two other buddies just outside Oregon city stayed and fought the fires themselves and saved their homes with minor damage. Most of it was smoke damage , but structures still standing.

Unbelievable!! Literally 5 mins after my last post......it's sprinkling here! Haven't had rain in over 2 months. Clouds look thin though , so not expecting a down pour.

We had the smoke come in heavy last night and this morning. You can barely see Wenatchee from East Wenatchee, none of the mountains in the valley are visible from downtown. Here is the current AQI, and the wind is coming from the NW.

Its smokey way over here on the east coast today too. Not near as bad as the pics posted here. But the haze is there and you can smell it.

Pretty clear here in St Helens. Still a little haze. Worked up in Gresham all day today and it sucked pretty bad up there. You could smell it and taste it all day. Was coughing pretty good by the time I left. This sucks!

Pretty bad here too, 190 air quality yesterday. 160 today.

Canceling kids sports outside. It smells like a campfire when I walk out of my house.

I have a bunch of sprinklers out and ready just in case anything kicks off close to me.

There are usually mountains in this picture, I have to say we got a late spring and it kept things pretty nice but it has been smoky for the last couple weeks. Hoping the cooler temps and moisture coming will drive it out of the valley.
