Bobby Regan - Champion team owner / human being

Edited Date/Time 9/5/2022 11:01am

I really liked his speech on the podium after DF14 took the championship
- He said something along the lines of "I want to win, Dylan wants to win, We all want to win"

-Clearly he keeps it simple and makes his dreams a reality - we could all take a leaf out of his book

I hope all the other team managers are shaking in their boots - because they ought to be.

He's Unique, probably the only team manager that both wants to win and that has riders who wants to win.

Then the idiot said” hey, wave those flags” this is an American team. Oh by the way this is our French champion Dylan Ferrandis. We brought him over from France 4 years ago! I about threw up. Very Hoosier of him. Ricky Bobby’s first I dont know what to do with my hands interview I guess.

He's got a good point. Why shouldn't it be celebrated. Most winning team since Geico Honda FCR

Geico and PC never tried to make a big push. I’m only talking about Geico once they become the Honda 250 team, I know they had Windham for a good length of time and Eli for 1 year.

Star Yamaha is definitely more powerful than Geico Honda was and they are on an amazing run. Every team goes through their moments of glory. Right now it’s almost all Star.

Bobby and his wife were eating breakfast at our hotel the morning of Budds. I didn’t want to be an annoying fan, told him I enjoyed learning about him on the Whiskey Throttle show and that I have a huge respect for what he’s done at Star, him and his wife were super appreciative of the kind words and seemed like really decent human beings.

Define powerful. Do you mean wins/championships or muscle over the factory?

Gotta give him credit, its a superteam. And not only due to signing the most expensive riders to contracts. I mean, Ferrandis was there for everybody to sign, but they did it

It's mind boggling to think about how dominant this team has been in recent years. It's one thing to be willing to spend the cash but it's completely another to succeed at this level.
