Don’t fret, the unemployment numbers are low 🙄
Unemployment numbers are low, yet I will not be working after next Tuesday due to material shortages. Come to find out my RC units for my boiler system are in Germany with an unknown shipping date.

Fuck. I snapped a salmon rod last August. I’m still on the list to receive my upper rod section due to material shortages (carbon fiber). 13 months later, still waiting. Tackle I use, is in short supply. Yeah, life’s fucking great.

A serious question. How does unemployment work in regards to standby status? Does that count towards the actual unemployment rate? I know lots of people sitting on standby. I’ll be included very soon.

How do you guys breathe air happily while the Big Guy got paid, laptop suppressed, Border an invasion, World economy going to shit, FBI raiding presidents homes, FBI clearly interfering with elections, Presidents son making money off Chinese Government!! Russia at war and Europe doing nothing. China is stealing any and everything again from us. And most importantly middle class American families struggling more and more each day with the open border, gas prices, food prices and soon energy prices, it’s coming !!!!

And you think Trump was a bad president, look at the damage that has been done it 2 years. It baffles me that people support this Administration

How did you your hands on Brandon's speech for tonight? It's sad as you have clearly pointed out, and what's even more sad is what you've identified is only a fraction of the disaster this administration has brought our front doors. This country is diseased with a president that's equal to if not more destructive than Covid. But fear not, Brandon and his party are working on that too. It's called Fentanyl, and with his open border policy, it's being brought to our front doors as well.

No part of me believes Biden is running this country…the dude Tries to shake hands with invisible people, his ramblings make Bush seem like a world class orator, can barely walk…he is nothing but a scare crow…propped by straw and sticks wearing a POTUS costume. It’s the people behind the scenes telling him what to do that are the issue…it’s the policies of the radical left…these pie in the sky, have my cake and eat it too policies…

They claim to be the party of the poor and middle class…while also trying to be the champion of the environment…and those are mutually exclusive. Their environmental policy will only hurt the poor and middle class…and help the rich who will lobby and bribe to be the ones getting all the tax payer funded grants to implement the green energy projects and programs…while the poor suffer from higher costs for energy, massive inflation etc etc.

Poor people don't care about the environment...they care about putting food on the table and paying the rent. And taking care of the environment will make both of those things harder for poor people to do.

The extreme left is a waking contradiction…

Soooo...destroy the environment and it will make the poor and middle classes better? A planet which is becoming more and more uninhabitable for billions of people, isn't going to hurt the poor or middle classes just in America, it's going to hurt the entire human race and really fist-f*ck your economic-centric point of view, with no lube. Talk about contradictions.

It’s called balance…it’s not killing fossil fuels until there is a viable (equally efficient, equally affordable, equally as plentiful, equally as reliable, with an adequate infrastructure) replacement…THEN…phase out fossil fuels.

But that’s not what the left is doing…they are hell bent on killing fossil fuels without a viable replacement (aka the entire green new deal, CA banning the sale of ICE vehicles, not issuing new oil/gas leases and on and on and on and on)…and it’s hurting the poor and middle class because it is-and it’s only going to get worse- driving up the cost of energy, which drives up the cost of everything…and for the poor and middle class it’s crushing them financially.

The left is talking out of both sides of their mouth…

One side claiming to be looking out for the poor…the other punishing the poor with a utopian and unrealistic environmental policy.

Poor people don’t care about the environment…they care about putting food on the table and keeping a roof over their families head.

You think That single mom in the government subsidized housing gives a second thought to the environment? Or that kid begging for food in Somalia?

The environment is a rich person worry…and they can worry about it because they’ve got nothing else to worry about. The environment is the epitome of a “1st world problem”…

Folks really need to stop talking about the extreme left and extreme right. Neither of those groups represent the majority.

I agree that the changes are happening so quickly that we don't have time to gradually decrease CO2. But it has to be done right. World governments, especially ours and China's need to get on the same page ASAP and hopefully figure out a shared solution.

Extremist might influence D.C., but they’re not “controlling America”. At least they’re not controlling me, unless I let them. And I don’t let them.

What I mean is they are the ones influencing policy, laws, etec in D.C…which affect all of us, be it indirectly.

Like the student loan forgiveness, that’s a very left wing extreme ideal…and it affects all of us, as the dollar is further devalued (which causes inflation), and taxes have to be raised to pay for it.

I concur with that assessment. Economic/monetary policy decisions have a trickle-down effect with potentially adverse impact. However, to what degree largely depends on which theory one subscribes.

For example, the debt relief (which I am against) does not mean setting a match to $1.5T over 10 years. Not considering things like net present value, a significant percentage of that debt relief will find its way back into the economy, cushioning the blow to some degree. Where economist and politicians differ is that degree.

I’d probably be a bit more on-board if the waiver was universal, as by the time my last kid graduates I’ll have $200K+ in Parent PLUS debt. But I fall outside the income requirements for debt relief, so I just roll with the decision and wait for the inevitable court challenges.

Trump owns you and Reese95w. He is what you wake up to and what you fall asleep to and also fills your day. You would have absolutely nothing to do without him.
He runs your world. Everything you say here revolves around Trump. Think about it, it’s true. Reese can’t stop posting memes, you can’t stop copy and pasting. It’s gotten really bad.
I’m going back to the moto forum, this place is not good for anyone

We never had a president act as childish as Trump. Between his vilification of all media that didn't kowtow to him, his petulant nicknames for his opponents, his unnecessary lies about inconsequential things like crowd sizes, his bigotry from the pulpit, his narcissistic rally tours, and his utter lack of reverence for anything resembling presidential decorum, Donald Trump made an absolute mockery of the office. The man was a constant embarrassment. If you still support him after everything he has done, you should question yourself.

Clay424, L00natic, and BMSOBx2...you've all been emailed about your account suspensions.

You three take the cake...you should all take a break from keyboards.

I'm locking this thread, a lot of you have lost the ability to debate in any sort of meaningful manner....
