Do most of you really respect Trump?

Like I said I couldn't care less about Democrat, Republicans Trump or any of this as i didnt need them to thrive on my own merrits through life although it blows my mind on the facts if you look at it as a whole.
It's all over everything in everyday life now so its hard to ignore completely anymore.
But all the gang bangers, most all of prisons, they legalized theft, the rioters and looters that burned cities for months, destroyed minority owned family businesses, trapped people in government buildings and then tried to burn them down with government officials inside, chased cops from towns, killed cops, all other countries can only name crime ridden Democrat cities and leaders and cant name one republican area, gave the power to criminals etc etc. But the right are the bigger criminals?
If you asked people around the world to name the most currupt cities, they only know dem cities and the most known are Clinton's and Obamas home cities or Pelosis and they are in horrible shape the worst they ever have been. So they came up in the most currupt places and the places are worse now than ever but they are squeeky clean? You can't clean up your own back yard but you can run the country?
I have never watched FOX or CNN, I had CNN on my boat twice and at our track. I had no idea who they were or cared but they tried to make me say there were more shark attacks now then ever, I said just more reports because social media, they didn't care and wanted me to read script, I declined because I did not beleive it at that time. Then the volgur chick started drinking and asked if wanted to fuck in the cabin. I said married and asked her indian camera guy if she was always like this. He said they all are at his workplace. The next time a dead baby dolphin had been floating, died of natural causes. It got closer to shore and people picked it up, then they say it was killed by people taking selfies even though they saw it was dead long before it got to shore but dont let truth ruin a good story. I never watched the news but was not surprised at this and i am supposed to trust them?
I will admit I have not seen one bit of Jan 6. It sucks and a disgrace but it's curious that the most heavily armed group in the world did what? and not a single weapon brought and its called a what compared to the burning of govt buildings after locking people inside? So much selective rage out there. It's all very sad but I ignored it for 40 years and I thrived with out it but people are acting so odd on both sides. It's depressing being this divided when it seems easy as pie to see who is less currupt.
I always assumed I was a Democrat, gay besties, animal sanctuary owner, gardener, charity funder, dedicated 35 years picking up, sorting and delivering food donations every single week, caring for our neighbor no matter who, etc. Then I actually came out from my rock (island) and looked and realized that is a huge lie, neither are for that but one side uses it for votes but its a huge farce and they are a very hateful group which also slows your and others ability to thrive in a society. It seems like projection due to their own failures. Never takes responsibility for anything. Power is their only goal, kings and peasants. "Tax tax tax until they are so broken they will obey." I'll be fine, I just hope the rest of you can handle this huge sabatage of a country by useful idiots that will as usual be left behind by their leaders.

I wasn’t committed but after the political FBI raid on Trump’s residence, I am completely in for everything not Democrat and DNC.

What does the search warrant on trump's residence have to do with the DNC or Democrats?

The discussion was Trump is running out of support from Republicans.

You typed “liberal talking point” in response to something I said inserting Trump would have to pay his current legal representation but you did not say they have paid other bills for him this year and if he declares in 2024 they they will not pay any bills to appear impartial to all potential candidates.

What point are you trying to make?

I am not defending Hunter Biden either. I think he is just as reprehensible person as Don Jr. But the laptop is no smoking gun. And the FBI warning FB about Russian interference 11 months before the election had nothing to do with Hunter or his PC. It had to do with actual Russian interference. And I know that isn’t what the masses want to believe.
WOW.

After 6 years of totally one sided media, and government interference, we have a guy who thinks we would have been told the truth ...

Hitler is responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and millions more died due to WW2, Trump killed no one. They are not comparable, but I do find it funny that is the first reference liberals make when you ask them what they think of Trump. A little out of touch with reality if you ask me.

Fuck me.

When you think you read the dumbest thing you are ever likely to read, and someone tops it in 15 minutes.

Nobody watches MSNBC, CNN or most of FOX because its laughable.

They are in free fall because they are liars , and they have been seen to be liars.

And they are all getting sacked,

Fucking Potato Head Stelter is an insult to even the least intelligent , and even he doesnt understand why he is a joke.

Sound familiar?

"Hitler intentionally destroyed any inherent bureaucratic rationality in favour of an instrument devoted solely to propaganda, to upholding the ‘idea’ of National Socialism as embodied in the Leader. The intrinsic contradiction between ‘leadership of people’ (Menschenführung) and ‘administration’ (Verwaltung), which would be laid bare during the Third Reich, was, his memorandum plainly shows, inherent to Hitler’s conception of the party and approach to power. The untrammelled personalized form of power that he represented could not dispense with bureaucratic organization, but was nevertheless inimical to it. As long as the party existed only to attain power, the contradiction could be sustained. In government, it was a recipe for chaos. (Kershaw, Ian. Hitler: 1889–1936 Hubris (p. 404). W. W. Norton & Company.)

Perhaps you didn’t notice me put “” around the word news? Or maybe you did since you seem to arbitrator of what’s dumb..

But now we know that you think the entire media is “one sided” because they are not in lock step with what you believe. Which is awesome for you.

Sure does, sounds exactly what the Democratic Party has done. Their latest psychotic meltdown was the unwarranted raid on Mar Lago. Hopefully the Hitler in the White House ends up like Adolph

No it does not Str8line, try as you might you will not convince me that one of the most vile human beings to walk this earth and a President of the free world who tweeted some things that got your panties in a bunch, are the same.

The Hitler analogies depend solely on which side of the political spectrum one sits. Both the Trump and Biden administrations could be picked clean to expose authoritarian-like behaviors, when in fact neither are even close to the atrocities committed by the Nazi Party.

The left is quick to label Trump a racist, when he likely does not see skin tone; he only sees allegiances. Biden, on the other hand…well, I’m at a loss. Bashing Joe is like kicking the walker out from a geriatric: maybe funny for a moment, but really kinda sad.

I don’t visit conspiracy websites (except Vital), so these rabbit trails don’t make much sense, nor do they impact my decision-making. I learned long ago that this is a land of opportunity, regardless of who sits in the White House. Yelling at the top of my lungs for change generates almost zero returns, although watching folks sling crap at each other is mildly amusing.

I think we all know that Trump won’t stroll into the WH and execute an economic pivot. His successes were due partially to his policies (many of which were fantastic), but the economy was already motoring along when he took the helm. The pandemic has a large impact on our current challenges, and while Trump could have maybe stemmed some of the bleeding, he could not reverse supply chain challenges and inflationary pressures.

You have no idea how refreshing it is to read such unbiased, logical and reasoned comments from a Conservative on this forum.

Republicans and conservative news outlets are distancing from Trump. He’s becoming increasingly difficult to defend, and top donors are asking (demanding) a new lead horse. The vast majority of republicans do not support his negative campaigns against the FBI, DOJ, etc., and the base has grown weary of the daily rants.

More importantly, even those who have long supported Trump feel it’s only a matter of time before he turns his sites on them. Trump demands loyalty but offers none, and he expects his supporters to fall in-line, regardless of the situation. If he were to win in ‘24, we can expect a scorched earth administration, with Trump more focused on revenge than policy. It’s not unfathomable to imagine his final 4 years being spent on slowly destroying the Republican Party.
False elite liberal talking point.

Actually the talking points of a lifelong republican who wants the party to restore it roots. As mentioned previously, I check all the boxes for a Trump supporter (white upper middle class veteran with kids). I favor the majority of Trump’s policies, but I dislike Trump, which makes me an “elite liberal”.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Ace, but outside of the echo chambers, Trump is losing ground. Sure, the diehards continue to circle the wagons, but that circle’s circumference diminishes daily.
Same as me! Across the board…(Except I’m not a vet…thank you for your service).

Trump needs to stay as far away from the 2024 presidential ballot as humanly possible. He cannot win.

Someone with his policies, but more mature, less ego, more tact, and higher morals would almost be the perfect candidate. Does anyone know where that person is? Lol

The SS Trump is sinking and the rats are bailing out:

"In a recent podcast episode titled Trump's Done that Coulter tweeted out Tuesday, she said the segment of Americans that remain supportive of the former president does not reflect a nationwide pattern.

"Trump fans are having a lot of fun, but it isn't indicative of a movement that's sweeping the nation," she said on the podcast. "It's not the party of Trump. It's safe to come back, and it's safe for Republicans to stand up and run without Donald Trump."

"In November of 2021, Coulter said that Trump was "abjectly stupid" and accused him of "betraying" his base over failing to follow through on his promise to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. While hundreds of miles of border wall was built, U.S. News reported, the project was not completed before Trump left office and Biden halted construction.

"I was well familiar with what a narcissistic, ridiculous, tacky, vulgar, arriviste this guy was," she said during an interview on Andrew Sullivan's Dishcast. "That I knew about. The one thing I underestimated, in fact, did not see at all, is, I had no idea how abjectly stupid the man is."

I wouldn’t call Trump stupid. Ignorant? Sure. Petulant? Oh, yeah. Thin-skinned? Sure. But stupid? He has a talent for recognizing opportunities, and when combined with a Machiavellian persistence, landed the guy in the White House.

Stupid guys might grab the nomination surrounded by smarter people. Trump wrangled it largely with little support from anyone. Yes, he used fear and hate as motivators, but he won the presidency. And lost it due to pettiness.

I agree. He's not stupid. Dr. Disinfectant is a bit of an idiot though.

Sorry you don’t find it as interesting as the genitals of college swimmers.

How do you guys breathe air happily while the Big Guy got paid, laptop suppressed, Border an invasion, World economy going to shit, FBI raiding presidents homes, FBI clearly interfering with elections, Presidents son making money off Chinese Government!! Russia at war and Europe doing nothing. China is stealing any and everything again from us. And most importantly middle class American families struggling more and more each day with the open border, gas prices, food prices and soon energy prices, it’s coming !!!!

And you think Trump was a bad president, look at the damage that has been done it 2 years. It baffles me that people support this Administration
How did you your hands on Brandon's speech for tonight? It's sad as you have clearly pointed out, and what's even more sad is what you've identified is only a fraction of the disaster this administration has brought our front doors. This country is diseased with a president that's equal to if not more destructive than Covid. But fear not, Brandon and his party are working on that too. It's called Fentanyl, and with his open border policy, it's being brought to our front doors as well.

It's would difficult if not impossible to respect Trump as a person. Did he make good decisions for our country, yes 100%. Would I vote for him again, no way.

But frankly I don't respect many, if any politicians. Most only care about lining there pockets with little to no real world experience.
