That was more chase having a horrible lap. Tomac was great, but chase fell of his own pace by 4 seconds and then rebounded.

It’s a good thing that Sexton broke Tomac a few weeks back, I guess…….

Eli has the shiniest front brake caliper I've ever seen.
Billet not cast. polishes up nicely. I think ride engineering sells a similar unit.

That was insane by tomac.
Chase so many close calls feels like any second he’s going to go down.

Going to be an interesting call on the track cut, while he didn’t gain position he did miss a fair section of the track with out slowing down much.

I believe after the last few races, Tomac was trying to conserve energy this moto for when he knew he absolutely needed it. Then when it was needed, dropped the hammer. Star really needs to find more money next year to convince him to do outdoors

Video of Deegans crash on his IG. He tried to bunny hop a jump and had an awful endo. Shocked he's ok.

No idea why Brian thought his engine quit

Yeah, and Chase did a 2:05 when he was running 2:02s and ran a 2:01 on the last lap. It was a great ride by Eli no doubt but the difference was chases 2:05.

I think Weege and Broc missed it actually when Chase swapped a little landing off the jump and went to the inside whether on purpose to block or by accident Eli saw it and switched over to the outside and was able to sweep the turn while Chase was pinched.

Insane that they both started well outside the top 10 and ended up 30+ seconds ahead of 3rd

No it wasn’t, Eli rattled him then set his fastest lap of the race.

Maybe he was saying he was still in second place.
That is true, but the mistake should have cost him time and it did not. He was every bit as close. I hope they do not...

I'm torn but I'm not a fan of the rule the way it is. Either way Eli took care of business in the end.
The AMA seem to take that stuff on a case by case basis.
Did it look intentional or not(that's how they look at it).
It didn't change the end results any.
However if he gained a position they would most certainly dock him points/positions.

The rule in general is supposed to make things safer for the riders and track crew(anyone around the track).
Safest reentry without the rider going backwards on the track or hauling ass backwards along side the banners mowing down track crew etc..flaggers diving out the way Smile .

Let’s see if the AMA penalizes Chase two positions. Seems proper when he made a mistake where he didn’t gain or lose time and Eli won the Moto

That ride by Tomac was a statement.....Sexton is facing the ultimate adversary. That must have been a shock to him.
