Impressed with JS7 in the Booth

Even after just listening to qualifying, James is a natural and gels well with Weege.

How good was it listening too him analyse the shock/setup/dirt/riding style stuff!

Just as he's talking about Eli's bike being more balanced Eli is just smooth in and out of the turns and ruts, sets the fastest lap... pretty cool!

When he doesnt try to cool it up like the pod, he is good. I would like when he breaks down the riders technique line choice, etc. GL was a master of that.

Also pretty funny listening to him talk about Chase's setup being low and sliding around and then thinking of some of James' bike setups which seemed less than helpful at times!

I’m liking him in the booth to. He seems to be a natural at it. He’s very observant, good humor & all around knowledge of the sport & bike setup.

Fumbles his words sometime but overall he has been great, also very funny guy!

I hope we don't go back to normal commentators in 2023, I like the rotation we've had this year.

So glad he’s back in the sport, crazy to think a few years ago we figured we’d never hear from the guy again. He’s been great in the booth, adds some humor and character that the color commentator position has been missing since GL left.

He's been nothing less than superb so far, I'd put it as strongly as that. Exactly what the commentary needed imo. That analytical Paul Malin / David Bailey touch, with an edge of not being afraid to say how he sees things.

Like his point just a few minutes ago about Dungey perhaps feeling a little out of place, almost like a fill-in rider (even though technically he's back and has ridden the whole series) and it being an extra difficult position to be in. Great point and something that I hadn't fully considered.

James's post races analysis vids that he did off and on were often very interesting, so in retrospect the skill (and it is a skill) to pick out key points that an audience might miss was always there. No one's perfect but I hope he'll be back again for more beyond this weekend.

The thing that makes Stew so solid is his rider insight. He doesn’t have to be a pro at the delivery, that’s what Weege is for. Stew is just conversing with the fan how an elite rider thinks and I like it.

He's very entertaining and funny. Also perfect insight on what's happening with line choice and whatnot. He's been really good to listen to today.

Stew was great. I've been very impressed with all of the guest commentators with the exception of McGrath/Johnon. Those guys were a snooze.

I am all for mixing it up every year like this.

I’ve been listening to Bubba’s World a lot more. I love and relate to the way he looks at things and can put them into perspective.

I think him and Dungey would be great announcers.
