There's been multiple threads dominating the Moto forum this week discussing how PulpMx handled their journalism while covering the 2022 Loretta Lynn's bike claim incident. It can be tough to weed through all the forum noise considering most of it comes from a very small percentage the Vital community. There's a large portion of Vital members out there who do not participate in these heated discussions for many reasons. Unlike individual posts or upvotes, polls allow everyone to participate anonymously and will paint a more accurate picture of how the majority feels. Is this hot topic close to a 50/50 split or is there a majority on one side of the fence?
Based on the two poll options below, which option most closely resembles your perception of the coverage on the 8/15/22 PulpMx show #515? This applies to the host of the show only, not the other guys in the room.
Option 1: Unbiased, very thorough with his questioning, didn’t gloss over anything important, didn’t avoid any difficult questions, didn’t seem to side with either party, fair to both sides, didn’t seem to have an agenda, transparent, credible, objective, investigative, tried to answer all questions, genuine, good journalism
Option 2: Bought, biased, held no feet to the fire, brushed over important details, avoided key and difficult questions for Donnie Luce, tried doing damage control for Blu Cru, spoke with the tone of Brennan=liar and Yamaha=innocent, unfair to one side, had a clear agenda, non-transparent, non-investigative, subjective, left many questions unanswered, phony, horrible journalism

I listened to all the interviews and based my opinions on the answers given by the players themselves.
PulpMX show was pretty clearly biased.
MLs interviews showed no bias whatsoever, no opinion....just the hard questions.
I didn't fall of the turnip truck yesterday. Life experience and character assessment comes into play when making assessments.
What most of the community is pissed about is the lack of responsibility in those mistakes amongst those parties after the fact.
AMA is changing the process and that is them addressing the problem on their end, expect nothing more (Brennan stated AMA he was fine with).
MXsports not making a statement or addressing the additional parties that got involved after the fact is certainly disappointing and I think that not being done fueled the fire. It would have been a golden opportunity for Davey to gain back credibility from the TV fiasco however in not doing so it just further drove home the frustrations many had existing from that ordeal.
From here it is simply digging up a corpse and they have all moved on. It is unfortunately a waste of energy at this point and not going to accomplish anything.
Zero accountability on this from the parties involved. MXSports (DC) statement is that Brennan gave misleading statements.
The AMA has stated multiple times that they handled it perfectly. So perfect that they had to change the rules for the future.
Walker, Dealer and Luce claim they were just helping out a fellow rider.
Deegan goes and starts a defamation campaign after asking "are you trying to defame us on youtube??"
Star Yamaha statement is "all these guys have 50k bikes and the kid wanted to turn a profit".
Everybody should be ashamed with their actions and responses to this debacle.
As far as your comment that it was not in the spirit of the rule, you couldn't be further from the truth. It's so much in the spirit of the rule that they are amending the rule to make sure the next kid gets the bike.
Note: This is coming from someone who is in no way shape or form a Deegan hater. If he's a multi time champ the sport will end up being better off. He's bringing lots of fans.
