He's 10th in points. I didn't see any hot shoe privateers above him. Who, in this field, could do better on that bike? If he was only a fill in...and team riders are healthy and ready to go...I get it. But, if they are just unhappy with his results...good luck with whoever they sign.Unsure

He did decent. Not a disaster but nothing special or noteworthy that would help him land on a similar level bike for 2023.

Don't know if he would've been up for it with the Firepower offer on the table but Anstie would've been much better. Could maybe make a case for Bloss over Shane too.

Shane did what he was hired to do. I’d expect the same results out of Wilson. At least he shows up outdoors unlike Malcolm.

Wilson should have been out from the factory ride years ago. As somebody said, Shane did nothing special on this bike and i thought that he should performed better since he was a top 250 rider on that yamaha.

Who should have that spot in the 450 class? who knows, but there are some 250 guys that have been waiting to move up for years now, and having a rider like Deano on a factory bike is just a waste of a good bike.

a factory rider should be a top 5 contender imo.

Yes, it’s more than 5 factory bikes but we have plenty of factory riders that CAN be a top 5 rider, and Deano aint one of them.

I don’t see the point of having riders on factory bikes that have been circulating around top 10-15 for years. Okay if you end up top 10 in points after the season, but you should be able to stack up top 5 places in some motos during the season at least.

Look at Barcia, i call him a top 5 rider, we know that he will NEVER win a 450 title, but at least he is still capable to win a race or some motos during a season.
