After two years we head back to the beautiful Uddevalla-circuit. Additional classes are EMX250 and EMX125.

Looks like Brit Bobby Bruce is racing MX2 this weekend.

Edit I don’t know why he would ride MX2 when there’s an EMX250 round this weekend. He was riding 125 last year, got injured pre season & has barely been back on the bike. I suppose he can guarantee qualifying in MX2 rather than EMX250.

He looked pretty good at Whitby British champs this weekend, but GP will be obviously a lot tougher. He can only get better after this late start. Good luck to him.

I don't know what happened with Tondel stopping in the first EMX250 Moto but it has set him back from Elzinga now in points, badly. Bugger, Bugger, Bugger.

Osterhagen won, on the FanYam 2t - in a class with fair rules. It bloody well should be the same rules in all levels of racing.

125 - Rossi hitting that wall over the jump was scary, and Fueri had nowhere to go but land on his bike. Nasty / Scary.

Great track, a good crowd for qualifying day, if the weather is the same - glorious - tomorrow, it should be packed. Those Rock Hill spectating areas are so Iconic.

MX2 qualifier up in a couple of minutes.

I didn't realize that JT$ was back in the booth with Mr Malin. Paul does a fantastic job by himself, but they make a good team.

Rubini's crash was horrible. Hope he's ok. It's a good track but well sketchy.

Rick is 42 points in front of toendel now with 5 motos to go.

Looking forward to being in St Jean D’ Angely for the finale in two weeks .

Mitch said he has had a big boost in confidence and the bike from his brother helping him since Indonesia.

It is kind of dissapointing to see that few 2t in this class. The fantics, Vettik, stauffer earlier in the year and a couple of others. Story i'm hearing is that teams in mx2 dont value your results that much when its on a 2t, so riders prefer a 4t for that... 🤷

He got unlucky with the way he fell, was such a violent crash for the circumstances

Here´s to Horgmo and Fredriksen on the podium today and in Finland. These are essentially home GP´s and a good way to earn some valuable points before the season ends. Can´t wait!

This was not intended for the Wolf but for another rider who drove past a fallen rider too fast. This blow leaves the Wolf with a swollen hand and a sore little finger.

Hopefully the pain while riding is not that bad so that he can show good things in the motos tomorrow.



De Wolf went to the medical post after the qualifying heat, but luckily no fractures could be found.

Tijdens de kwalificatie wedstrijd in Zweden heeft Kay de Wolf een pijnlijke hand opgelopen. De Brabander werd op zijn hand geslagen door een marshall die aan het vlaggen was voor een gevallen rijder. Na de wedstrijd heeft de Husqvarna-rijder zich gemeld bij de medische post maar gelukkig konden er geen breuken geconstateerd worden. De pijn verbijten zal het worden tijdens de beide manches vandaag in Uddevalla.

During the qualification race a rider just ahead of Wolf crashed and the Marshal stuck his flag at at the momemt Wolf came past. Wolf's hand struck the flag (flagpole).

His hand was examined at the medical center and it was established that nothing is broken. Sore and swollen but he will be ok.

De wolf and a bunch of MX2 guys were apparently going too fast nearby to Rubini, who was being seen by medical personnel. There were waved yellows and medical flags but the riders were going too fast, so I heard that a Marshall hit de wolf as he went past because he was too close.
FIM were pissed about the riders and held a meeting after MX2 race to tell the riders what the flags meant.

I've always thought the way it comes back onto the start straight now they run the track this way was 'janky' and awkward.. I'm sure they've got their reasons but still

I can't remember how the track really went when it was the other way now I really think about it though haha

It’s a bummer for De Wolf, but the speed those guys where passing all those yellow flags/marshals and a fallen rider was ridiculous. I get it why a marshals puts a flag like this, bummer for Kay, but could have been everyone.

Happy that the FIM did a meeting afterwards with the riders. Respect those flags and the situation!!

I think the MXGP stream just had a "Bondo" moment....... I'm not 100% sure, as I'm just finishing off a complicated machining job and my head's on a swivel. Which is bloody stupid on my part, when operating a machine that could wrap me around it's axis Blush .

I heard Malin say Geerts was down, just as they went to a replay of the MX2 start. Haven't seen what really happened, but Geerts is at least still in 3rd , then back to 2nd , but, some 10 or seconds back at around 5 plus 2 to go .

I really would like to see Geerts get this title - nothing against Freds' Boy, I'd just like to see a Belgian get a title again.

There wasn't a pile up, didn't see him go down he just didn't look like he was riding too well, then it looked like his bike let go
