Cancel FloRacing - Refund???

Has anyone tried cancelling FloRacing?

My son ordered the service without telling me to watch mx and I noticed they billed him for the entire year.

The service is terrible and he cancelled it but apparently you do not receive a refund? it shows cancelled but active for the next year???

Has anyone had experience with this. There's not a phone number that I can find and the answers on the website are vague at best.

This is so frustrating!

I had the same with Supercross, it was tough to watch for me in the UK with a lot of freezing and 480p crap, so I cancelled it as soon as it auto-renewed (I had unchecked the auto-renew box previously) and now long after the season I haven't seen a penny back or a reply to any of my 3 emails, and I can't exactly phone them and sit on hold for 2 hours on an international call, so I've just given up.

Gotta love it 🙄

Do it trough your bank or credit card, don't waste your time going to floracing or Mavtv

Same thing happened to me, got billed for a year when I wanted to pay monthly for $6.99. Went to the website, they have a support link, you fill out the form stating your issue and they email you back. Within a couple days they cancelled my yearly subscription and allowed me to get the discounted $6.99 monthly rate. Not sure where you live but my service in Eastern NC is great and multiple devices can stream at the same time from the same account.

I thought about signing up for Flo after they cancelled my MAV deal. Very glad I did not sign up based upon the notes above as well as other threads on this. This thing just will not die!

This is one of the many reasons flo has so many better business complaints. You will not be receiving a refund, it’s in the small print that cancellation only means you will not be billed annually.

Flo racing is crooks and they don’t care, each new series they bring in will net them thousands of victims thinking their signing up for a monthly billed service.

i feel bad for the people getting taken by flo ...i knew they were shady from past years o snowmobile racing issues. seen this all happen before. i tried to warn people when i heard it was going over to flo but you know how it is.....everyone wants to watch mx so bad they get burned.

mx is dead to me right now. how DC got snookered into moving over to flo will be mx's downfall.

[b]Clicked the $6.99 a month tab as well and got billed for the whole yearly price; called and was on hold for awhile until I realized that I was just on a loop for 45 minutes. This whole thing is a SHAM, disappointed for sure. Just want to watch moto and it has cost me $299 in the past 3 months,. Lame

I paid for the year up front then I emailed them using the "contact me" tab on the flo website. They actually got back to me fairly quickly saying they have cancelled my service and issued a partial refund of like $125 (ish). This was yesterday and I haven't received the refund yet but maybe try the contact us option, as mentioned above they actually got back to me fairly quickly.

Just double checked my bank app and I actually did indeed get the refund. Definitely try the "contact me" via email on their website.

Well Don the problem is multiple people tried to sign up for the $6.99 option and got billed for the entire year. I know you find it hard to believe but since it has happened to multiple people it is a problem even though it worked as advertised for you.

Send an email asking to be put on the special mavtv price on a per month basis. My buddy accidentally signed up for the year and they switched it for him.

Any streaming service i know of, if you cancel you just don’t get billed for the next cycle. So In your case, you are stuck with it for a year. If it was monthly you would get the remainder of month until it was time to renew, etc.

Actually that’s not true, everybody above says they purchased the yearly but want to revert back to the $6.99…there is one that claims he clicked on the link for $6.99 and got charged for the year…everybody wants to throw Davey under the bus for FLO but I’m willing to bet that most of the issues are operator error…including the OP who admitted as much…

My son ordered it from the main website and it was $12 a month but they bill you for the entire year. So he was charged $164 and while we are watching the race it freezes up😡

He sent in the cancellation request and received the message below.

“Don't want your subscription to auto renew? You can opt out of this feature from your account.  Step-by-step instructions can be found here. Please note that cancelling your account will ensure that it will not auto renew, but it does not issue a refund. You will still have access to your subscription and all FloSports channels through your original billing term.”

Honestly the Mavtv app worked great. 35 years ago I could set the VCR to record at 3am and have a better viewing experience.

I will try the bank tomorrow. What a cluster!

Feel your pain. That’s why I wouldn’t cancel. Go through the website and under customer support you send them an email saying you want to switch to the MAVTV $6.99 monthly rate. Before December hits, then you can cancel because that is when they’re going to start charging $99 yearly.

I signed up for the monthly 6.99 package on 7/16, day of Millville. The live stream was terrible quality (audio out of sync, slow motion footage, 720p), even though I could stream it fine through YouTube. I (easily) cancelled my 6.99 subscription, and checked my credit card statement and it shows just one ding for 6.99.

No problems here. I used the link in one of the emails I got from Flo and signed up for the $6.99 per month program. I just checked my Discover Card bill and saw the $6.99 charge there. I don’t even recall there being an annual option when signing up using the email link.

Flo sucks. It’s slightly better then MavTv. But Flo is a very shady business. I’m glad I didn’t give them my credit card.

Worst streaming experience in a decade, this 50th anniversary of motocross.

I’ve checked out on the season. Yeah I know. Nobody cares.

It worked for DonM so really no one else having problems. And to say it’s user error? Have you been living under a rock? I’ve tried for two months to watch the races. It’s all technical issues. Account issues. Billing issues. Provider issues. Streaming issues.

That’s not “user error” ya big dummy.
