I’m sorry, but Barcia as the 250 rider is a joke. How many years since he’s ridden one? KTM and GasGas have been fighting the bike all year. They can get him dialed on a 250 in a short period of time??? Hell no! If J-Mart comes back for the last 2 or 3 rounds I’d rather see him on the 250 than Barcia.

Craig and Star racing Yamaha as a team are firing on all cylinders. Craig WANTS the job according to the broadcast. He’s had plenty of 250 seat time, the YZ250F is the best engine in the class and Craig is way more efficient on the bike than Barcia ever thought about.

Craig might be the last guy I would want in a high pressure mxdn situation. Go with Anderson.

Why is sexton even being talked about for the 250 spot he’s killing it on the 450 . Could Decoster be putting one of his riders in that spot ? Is that why

Its def puzzling but might not be the worst idea if you think about it. The 250 scores are huge in this race

Team USA is looking to get their 250 rider commitment locked in here at Millville and chatter around the pits is it will be a 450 rider dropping down, with these four in consideration.

Which would you take?

Jason Anderson
Chase Sexton
Christian Craig
Justin Barcia

Personally, I'm going with Sexton.
Why the hell would you place 1b fastest 450 rider on the planet on a 250???? Please advise.

You know enough.

They shouldn't and likely won't. You are right, it's dumb. Send the better points position between Ando, Craig, or Barcia to ride the 250.

I wonder if there would even be talks about this if there weren't these two ozzies making cooper's results look bad
Would France consider to go with Reneaux Febvre and Dylan if the Lawrence's raced MX2 and beat Vialle by half a minute?

Yeah if they asked me to decide I might just stick with Cooper if nothing else for his starts.

Tomac, Sexton, and Ando on Shimoda's bike.

Barcia has no business in the conversation this year.

Id go Craig just based on the fact he would be on a star 250. And that bike is a good bit better than the gas gas 250

It should definitely be Justin Cooper! He can start and he’s getting stronger every race!

Didn’t mossiman make everyone look bad earlier this season on that bike. It’s definitely fast enough.

Anderson REEEAAALLY wants to be on the mxon team and the dude would ride his ass off. I think he's the best choice to put on the 250. I see zero logic in putting Chase on a 250 as good as he is on the 450.

Craig would kick some ass on the Star 250F. You can bet your ass on it.

Sexton on a 250 doesn't make sense until you consider that he is only a couple of years from riding one. It has been a decade for any of the other guys.

It's in America. At a track he just rode. He will be fine. Shut up about experience the guys got more 250 experience than anyone else. You guys constantly complain about how long he's been on a 250 so it sounds like he's the perfect guy for the job.

Yup. I think he would adapt most easily to the 250 compared to the other top 450 riders (except Craig).

Matthes started this crap with Barcia because of his friendship with Hahn. At this time Dungey would be better then Barcia. Would love to see Ando get the 250 spot or Craig.

At this point I’d rather Craig than barcia.

Anderson has to have surgery after outdoors according to Steve so he is out for mxon.

Exactly. The only 450 guy I would trust on a 250 would be Ando. And he can't get a start on a 450 but he's going to on a 250? Coop is the only choice

Selfishly, I want to see Anderson on the 250, but Craig or Barcia would be exciting to see as well. But JCooper will probably make sense if he stays healthy and keeps racing his way back into shape. You guys have to remember he is still building back his race pace and there is still time to keep building before Des Nations.

On the other hand, do you guys think for riders like Barcia, or Anderson, riding the 250F is like stepping down from Varsity to JV?

For mxon? No way. I would think it would be pretty fun for them if I had to guess.
