What a shame that in 2022 I have to go through this to watch a race. “It’s your signal. Your internet. Your ROKU. Your Firestick. Your Chrome. Switch to this. Switch to that”. I paid for MavTV Plus. I paid for Flo. Yet EVERY OTHER 40 Apps run fine on my Firestick in living room. And EVERY OTHER 40 apps run fine on my ROKU in bedroom. I shouldn’t HAVE to try this, try that. Garbage. And an embarrassment to the sport.

I’m having issues on the Roku as well. It crashes and goes to the Roku Home Screen and I have to launch Flo again. About every 7-10 minutes this happens.
It’s the only app on my Roku that does this. Amazing what a shit show this years MX has been.
Hate to say it, but same here. I'm on Roku too. For me, here in lightning central, I believe it's all weather related. Hope so... because this is getting old.

Mine was complete shit until right around 5 minutes to go in the second 250 moto. Then like a light switch, it instantly went to HD and hasn't buffered since. Weird!

Not paying for Flo and very glad I didn't. Watching it live on Fubo TV, MavTV channel via Roku TV. Flawless and no added money out of pocket - its in my current Fubo package that also includes a bunch of hunting shows I watch. Not buying any more packages going forward. Fool me once.....

Flo fucking sucks and this is embarrassing for our sport. All day I got denied the streaming because it said I exceeded the 12 device limit. I am the only one using the account and I log in once a week on saturday. And their amateur website won’t let me stream their replays on my smart tv browser. I’ve tried to give DC the benefit of the doubt up until now but this is plain stupid. Show some pride in this series that you’ve helped build, Davey. No wonder big time sponsors like Geico pull out of the sport and leave riders jobless.

If you've paid for mav, do you still have to pay for Flo?

Watching on Youtube right now, since Flo is garbage. I signed up today and will probably unsubscribe today as well.

-Footage in slow motion
-Footage and commentary don't line up
-Switches from live race feed to qualifying replay on its own without notice.
-Footage stops mid-race to load

Anybody else experiencing these issues? I cut the cord 12 years ago, and I've never had any streaming issues until this motocross season. NBS Gold/Sports, Peackock, etc were fine for me. MavTV plus and Flo, not so much.

(EDIT: Using FloSports App on Ruku TV, internet speed 130mps)
Same exact problems on a Roku, downloaded the app on my iPad, works great.

Have if 4 people watch on an iPad is bullshit tho.

You should have received an email on it, so search your email for MAV tv and see the specifics. Short answer is yes, you have to pay, but its a discounted rate to be net neutral with what was paid to Mav. So if already paid, you shouldn't have to pay more as you would have received a partial refund. For monthly subscribers, its the same price for this season. Price goes up at the end of the year though.

I gave up on MavTV Plus after the second round. I sit down to relax and watch the races, not struggle with diagnosing whatever is wrong with the broadcast or chase channels on various devices.

I'll just watch whatever I can find for free on YouTube until next season. Which, so far, has been every minute live...

Not gonna sign up to be a paying Beta tester for the Outdoors. Today they had a totally new issue. Timing and scoring went down and never really came back. That wouldn't be a problem if they didn't get focused on showing a single rider for lap upon lap.

For those of you that successfully signed up for Flo and it's working perfectly for you, that's awesome. I will be even more encouraged when you tell me you were able to cancel without issue in a couple of months. Until then, I'll be in wait and see mode.

I am able to cast to my tv from my iPad with the flo app now. Website still won’t play video in my tv browser or ps4 browser. I can’t believe these hoops we are having to jump through to watch motorcycle racing these days. And I’m relatively tech savvy. I can’t imagine what some of the old timers are going through. Probably just not watching the races because it’s a pain in the ass.

It's probably 3 years old. Is there some version/update or s/n cutoff that my Roku needs to be to work properly with Flo?

FWIW, I bought a Roku box about 6-7 yrs ago and never opened it up or used it. Then when this whole national debacle started and I realized I couldn't get the Mav+ app on my LG-TV, I finally opened the Roku and plugged it up. It's been working flawlessly for watching the Nationals on both the Mav+ app and the Flo app today. So, it is "new" but it's NOS from 6-7 yrs ago.

No, we're not idiots. Those would be the amateurs trying to present a professional broadcast production.

Whoever brought a single laptop to run timing and scoring and feed it to the broadcast is an idiot, though. If you don't have any redundancy built in to your system, it's doomed to fail. Kinda sums everything that has been presented this summer.

Tell me the last time you watched any other form of motorsports and it was such a consistent shit show...I'll wait.

Hey ding dong. AMA’s live timing and scoring was down. It had nothing to do with mav. Even after it was fixed intervals only updated when they crossed the finish line. Usually they have 3 segments on the track. It was not a mav or flo issue.

Unlike you, I won't resort to personal attacks and name calling. So, let me try to explain this one more time.

It falls on MX Sports/AMA/Broadcast Production Crew to have sufficient equipment & resources at the races to be able to put on a consistent show. That includes making sure that Timing and Scoring works all day. And they need to actually co-ordinate with one another to ensure a successful day. This would not be tolerated in NASCAR or F1, both of which MX Sports has aspired to copy. DMG certainly wouldn't tolerate it for their productions.

This is just another example of how Mickey Mouse the production values have been this summer. It's like they found a bunch of college broadcast students and made them interns...and told them they were on their own and have fun.

Can't blame DC for today. He was on family vacation.

All I’m saying is blaming flo for AMA live timing and scoring failing doesn’t make any sense. Timing and scoring has been an issue for years(in SX as well) that you can blame the AMA for. The AMA has nothing to do with the TV broadcast.

I, too, had trouble with Roku 3 on my TV. The audio was 30+ seconds ahead of the video, poor quality, etc.... I sent them a support e-mail. The first response was a copy/paste about flushing cache, power cycling modem/router, etc.... which I had already done. The second response is below.

"Thanks for reaching out, I'm sorry to say that there is an audio issue exclusive with certain Roku devices, our tech team thinks it's because of the recent update. They are working right now to find a solution. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience!"

I can say that the "solution" wasn't found before the end of the race. Maybe it will be better next week. I was able to to watch on the PC so all good. Smile

I'm using the cheapest Roku I could find on an old tube tv and satellite internet which is really slow by todays standards and my Mav+ and Flo have not really had any issues worth mentioning. Something must be different.

They messed it up and you wouldn't have all these here complaining if it wasn't. Why can't anyone say I fucked it up!!!!!!!
