Even the for sale sign out in front of Sand Hill is falling apart.

...did lots of racing and riding there...as early as '75 on my 1975 Falta Relica CZ400...Big memory was seeing Magoo race there a few times- on a KTM (white tank)- sponsored by a shop in Concord - racing the Pro class (of course)...
or, the annual Hangover Marathon...
Good times. Haven't been there since the mid 90's (moved to the midwest).

Sandhill is a sh*thole nowadays with a ton of potential. Won't be back there until it is in a new owner's hands and revamped.

Went there a couple of times in '07. It's definitely one of those places where you can see and feel the potential but it never really delivered. If some real work goes into it though, Sandhill could be an excellent facility and track.

Serious sale negotiations are happening once again... very recently.

The 1st race at Sand Hill Ranch was in early 1973 and was promoted by Keith Mullins. Boss Motocross ran a couple races there in June of 1973. The place always had great terrain and elevation changes but never reached full potential in the hands of Tom Anderson, who was a roundy rounder and never understood Motocross. shabby track...shabby supervision, but I hope a good guy like Rodney gets hold of it and develops it into a 1st class facility

Dirt Factory in Concord. Collins bros owned and operated.

RAced Magoo there a few times riding mike collins's KTM. couldn't beat him but only finished a foot behind him. Smile

Doubt Sandhill will ever open for dirt bike activities again. JMO. Not enough riders in NorCal left to support racing, let alone practice days.

I saw some pics awhile back and hardly even recognized the place. Some good times back in the 70's and 80's.

Great memories is right have lots will talk about them soon

I broke some ribs on a pit bike at Sand Hill in 2008, then got a girls number on the way home sitting in traffic. Memories that will live forever haha
