I ran .51 and 375cc of oil in my RMZ revalved forks, my Suzuki forks were much stiffer stock. I’m going to get the KX suspension done, but I don’t have time before my first race. Should I go with the OEM Kawi optional springs?

I’m still wondering about the clutch lever problem?

I don't have any experience with levers other than OEM or ASV. Saying that, have you tried the reach adjuster on the OE lever to move it further out from the bar?

Yep, I have it adjusted pretty far out. Wasn’t a problem until the bike got hot.

Clutch pack may need to have the stack up checked.

I hope not, the bike has 30 minutes on it.

Doesn’t mean it was built right. Could need to bleed the line too.

That is true. I will try bleeding the line. Thanks man.

Wasn’t going to post this but since the thread came up. I’ve ran into two things recently with my 19 kx450(not the bikes fault). Just wanted to give a head up.

1. The drd exhaust I have was rubbing the shock spring. I measured and it is indeed “thicker” in the mid pipe section. Switched back to the oem pig.

2. I had my break pedal hanging(rookie mistake) while I had my suspension off being serviced. Rear break had a leak when I hooked everything back up. I flipped the washers around on the rear break as I didn’t see any obvious cracks or leaks. I bled the breaks and it tightened up. We shall see if this fixed whatever the problem was. Appeared to be leaking by the swing arm and not by the caliper.

After 3 years with my 2019 KX450.....i decided to buy another one. No other bike is as comfortable to ride as this bike. The bike was super reliable and i found a new one for a good price. Best bike available and i'm not a kawasaki guy. Everyone that rides it winds up liking it.

I ended up doing the same, especially with Yamaha taking their grand ole time releasing the new bike. The plus was I didn't have to buy all new parts, I just moved everything over.

Any chance someone has a set of OEM shrouds from a 22' or 23' they would be willing to part with? Don't need to be new, just pretty good shape. Thanks!

I have some from a 19. I’m guessing you want that particular test for the graphics tho?

Thanks for the offer!

I am looking for the 22' or '23 specifically for the graphics, I have my OEM '21 shrouds and some shrouds with aftermarket graphics, but something about these 22/23' OEM graphics speak to me and I want them.

Thanks again.

I have 1.7 hours on mine and I’m loving it. I’m 6’2 and can’t get over how good the ergonomics are. All I’ve done is switch to 5.2 fork springs, I plan on getting the suspension revalved and leaving it stock. I never do that.

Turned over 83hrs on my 21 KX450XC. It's been a journey, but outside one mechanical factory mess up, the bike has been flawless. Managed to win a couple races on it, along with plenty of practice and she still runs as well as the day I picked picked it up. I have been running a MX-TECH National Shock on it since day one, and recently added MX-TECH Raven Cartridges which are a game changer in itself. Extremely plush throughout the stroke while still maintaining excellent bottoming resistance when the trail gets fast and whooped out. The additional advantage is I knocked 3.4lbs off the front of the bike in the process.

I have over 200 hours on my 19kx450. Only thing I’ve done to it is a top end and change wear parts. I had one seal start leaking and that is about the extent of the issues.

I tried a ton of aftermarket stuff and only thing I really like over stock is a tall seat, level link, and good foot pegs and bars. I tried a full pc exhaust and a drd exhaust and prefer the power delivery of the stock. I just hate the look.

I'm loving the acerbis one :-) easy and straight forward to install :-) Hardly feel it riding it and actually on my 250 it gives the front more stable and planted feeling :-) Always fuel it up when I can :-) Should give you around 180 k range :-) on my 250 ...

Did you bleed the brake? After that I probably would because if they can’t bleed the clutch right…

Funny you say that. I noticed my front brake acting funny last ride, felt like I boiled the fluid. I'm going to bleed with some Motul before next ride.

I had a big clark tank on my YZ and the feeling first half of the day was terrible with a fulltank. But for kx250 it feels like a blessing and my nuts are still intact ;-) Don't worry bout it all...and i really fill the tank every petrol station ...it really rides better with full tank and you dont have to sit on top of the tank to make it turn. I have run into a leftover tree in high grass wich made me crash and no worries :-) when I saw the pictures I hesitated too but found some guys who allready ridden with one and everyone said it's not only an upgrade for fuel but also for riding it :-) You won't regret it

Kawasaki KX 450 F NEKEN Top Clamp SFS KXF Blue 0109021
for sale, 400$ including postage. Payment via PayPal.
I also have carbon fibre engine hangers for $100.
They both work a beauty on rough tracks. No more vibrations and better handling.
Only selling together as I have to post the items from Italy, so the shipping for me is quite expensive.
