Man the first lap was crazy, these guys are banging in close quarters like the Moto3 guys.

There seems to be no pacing in moto GP anymore it's flat out from start to finish, great to see the Espargaro in the top 3 again.

Bummer for the Suzy guys Rins was REAL LUCKY he didn't tag anyone as he crossed the track outta control!Woohoo

I was just watching and they all drank champagne out of the winner's Boot! Sick hahaha

Quateraro performing miracles on the under powered Yamaha. Don't know how he does it. Didn't win the race but solid second riding his ass off. No wonder he's world champion. Meanwhile Marini on the Ducati sets new MotoGP top speed of 226 miles an hour.

Another great race. Cool for Joe to grab a second after last years podium loss...

Fabio looks like he could bring another one home just being consistent.. would of liked to see the beast up front with pecco..

Silly season: These KTM rumors are wild. three way fight for ktm to nab miller, mir, or pol. All while moving miguel back to tech3. Withu yamaha to be aprillia sat team next year. Does fabio stay with yamaha?

Good race incredible to see two rookie's on the front row although they did not last long up there they gave it everything they had.

Man Martin is FAST but can't keep it on two wheels.

And no mention of the SHOULDER CAM!!!! Woohoo
Moto GP definitely has it going on as far as how to produce a broadcast of racing, it makes the AMA Nationals and SX look like amateur hour.

And yes seeing Joe in the points battle is awesome, hope he can keep it going. Smile

Fabio with Yamaha for 2 more years.. No better seat or did they promise more out of the bike lol

Sounds like this is going to be a similar story as marc and honda.. one bike for one rider

Aleix is gonna be beating himself up all week. That sucks, and he’s got nobody to blame but himself.

I can't believe this happened again here. Sucks if he's within 10 points of the title at the end of the year. It will be the one that got away.

Quateraro with a Flawless ride. Factory Ducati down and out, poor Espargaro, Nakagami is a menace. Only thing keeping this interesting is the Yamaha is so slow.

If the M1 had any power to speak of Quatararo would be running away with it. Amazing what he’s been able to do on that bike

What a bummer for Aleix, valuable points he gave up but not quite as bad as Joe Roberts throwing it down the road while in the lead--DAMNIT!!!! Angry

Rins broke his wrist in the nakagami crash. Thank God they have a few weeks off before the German Grand Prix he may be able to ride.

Don't the pit boards normally give a lap indicator? Or do these guys not look at the flaggers? I mean I know they are going down the straight at mach 3 so I don't blame them on not being able to focus or see anything except what's infront of them.. but an experienced guy like aleix seems he would know better..

Such a bummer, I couldn't believe what I was watching.. Even my girlfriend was feeling bad for him and she doesn't even watch racing haha.

Alex's pit was at the end of pit Lane. Fighting off the Ducatis meant intense concentration on breaking into the first turn to keep from getting repassed. Says he didn't have a chance to look at the board so he was counting laps. He messed up.

He also said his pit was FIRST right by the lap counter, which showed 1 which he THOUGHT meant last lap but when it shows 0 is the LAST LAP! Woohoo

My wife was watching too and we were both shocked what we were seeing.

His interview was good, really like the guy as he has been loyal to Aprilia and accepted full blame and apologized to the team.

Yeah I'm not sure that's an upgrade or not. Generally good qualifier but really sketchy racecraft. Not a Miller fan.

I love Jack, just his personality, dude's hilarious. As for the riding, Oliveira proved this season he can't ride through problems like Binder. Was the KTM good this year, no. Should Oliveira have been better than he was? Yes. Miller seems like the type of guy who is crazy enough to ride the shit out of an imperfect bike.

I don't remember that but I'm getting old and only remember certain things like when his dad Kenny Sr ripped off the top of some trophy girl and lifted her up in his arms! Woohoo

I have video of it somewhere on VHS tape it was classic! Laughing

Quateraro making the rest of them look silly on a slower bike. Bagnaia blows it again. Rins couldn't ride because of the wrist injury from last week thanks to Nakagami who crashed again, Assen next week.

Fabio is turning this championship in a bit of a snoozer and I must say I don't get how you guys keep saying his bike is slow.

He wouldn't have that much of a point lead with a slow bike, it might be down a few miles per hour to the Ducks but that is it.

Bummer for Pecca, that crash was weird totally caught him off guard didn't seem like he was overriding the bike and the rear tire just let loose. He was pissed as the Championship is over for him.

"a few" ... more like 20-30 down the straight..

Yamaha is going to turn into honda, build one bike for one rider. (see example: MM93) I can't believe yamaha is going to get away with being the only inline 4 on the grid next year.

20-30 MPH slower than the Ducati!!!
NFW-- You're gonna have to show me some facts on that one. Have not seen anyone blow by Fabio like he was towing an anchor.

What makes you think they build it only for Fabio? As far as I know it's been the same basic design with of course refinements each year.

I have not heard any Yami riders complain the bike is unrideable like some former Honda riders have.

22-30 kph slower not mph. If you haven't heard complaining about the Yamaha from other riders then you haven't been listening. How about Dovi? Or anyone else on the blue Pig? They can't even qualify in the top 15. Yamaha's only advantage is in cornerspeed. if you can't ride it like that you're done and apparently no one else but Quateraro can. The tires don't support it. Quateraro is a master.

I still want to see it from facts or quotes from a rider that the Yami is a Blue Pig and 20-30 (mph Laughing ) KPH SLOWER. Not hearsay.

Dovi-certain Riders gel on certain bikes for one reason or another, look at Pol he was faster and more CONSISTENT on the KTM.
Same thing happened to Lorenzo and it was a steady drop-off from Yamaha to Ducati and his DISASTROUS season on Honda while Marc was smokin the field.

And Danilo Petrucci who went from Ducati (won a GP) to KTM and was at the back of the field and is now racing MotoAmerica.
Cal Crutchrow who was fast on the Yami and crashed his brains out on the Honda.
The list is long of Riders not adapting to certain bikes throughout the years.

I just haven't seen that much of a disadvantage on a LONG straight and there has been many so far in the season.

As long as Quateraro can hang in the draft he's good on the faster tracks. If not he'll take third or fourth. No mistakes. Just smart riding. On shorter tracks he will do what he did this past weekend.

I'm still waiting to hear about this HUGE top speed disparity of 20-30 Kph facts and Blue Pig comments you are claiming. Laughing
The bike must be atrocious considering it's going to win back-to-back Motogp World Championships and it takes a combination of rider and bike--neither can suck.

I'm not even a Fabio fan as I'd like Esparagaro and the Aprilia to take it but there is no denying Yamaha's success in taking titles and a proven bike that gets the job done. Sure it's design might be getting outdated when compared to Ducati's endless money & Technology stream but when rider and bike mesh together and you are WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS is it really the smart thing to do a complete redesign? Woohoo

Jeremy might have some input on this topic when it came to 1997 after being so Dominant on the older design. Blink

Good race and hopefully make things more interesting in the Title Hunt.

Good for Fabio to go and apologize to Esparagaro for taking him out--Class Act 👍
That was an awesome two rider PASS at the end that I'm sure made it easier for Alexis not to be too bummed about the day.

Meanwhile--shifting gears check out the surgery scar on Marc--my Gawd that is gnarly! Dry
