FXR dropped some of their new stuff, the "Podium" and "Podium Gladiator" line. I'm down to wear some goofy colored shit, doesn't bother me much. I'd wear the Acid Sherbert and Vice colorways, but I don't think I could let my slow ass self wear something with a giant "FTA" (FULL THROTTLE ADDICTION) and "FACTORY RIDE" text plastered all over it like the Podium Gladiator line has, thats pretty cringe for me. I thought they'd actually gotten away from the "FACTORY RIDE" crap in last years lineup and it looked good.

Wow....$350 for pants + jersey?!

I usually opt for the higher end of the spectrum for any particular MX gear lineup but holy smokes.
It’s weird to see a shocked by prices when it’s nowhere near the increase of bike prices. Pants and jersey were $200 when a brand new 250 2 stroke was $3,000.

Just got two sets of gear, a leftover sale set of Shift Blue Label gear, and I got the Alpinestars Fluid pants with a Supertech jersey. Both jerseys are great, coming from cycling I am personally a huge fan of the more athletic fit jerseys. No more 5 pound sleeves flapping around during a mud race!

The Shift pants are pretty disappointing, I am very glad I did not pay msrp. The rubber logos started peeling off immediately upon opening the package. Not a huge deal but indicative of quality control. This was my first time wearing modern, stretch material moto pants, and I was pretty surprised at how much heat I can feel coming off my pipe. Never noticeably felt that before even on a four stroke. My biggest complaint is the fit. I wear a 30 in jeans and have always gone up to a 32 in moto pants for reference. The waist is a little tighter than expected, but the rise in the crotch is so low its ridiculous. I am smashing my junk just to pull them up over my butt. And while that area is small, the knees are HUGE. I don't wear braces, just knee pads, and these look ridiculous with how much extra fabric is there.

The Alpinestars pants, which are the entry level $99 pants, are probably the best fitting pants I've ever worn. The pants sit naturally up on my waist, they have a comfortable amount of movement, and are not bulky at all. They have a nice slim fit that just feels great on the bike. Super happy with these

Picked up my set of 22.5 Revo LE gear yesterday. Jersey feels even more fitted than before.
Was hoping the gold was a little more shiny but it still looks good.

Where did you find the blue label stuff? I never see it on sale in mediums or 32-34

I switched to fly a couple years ago and have loved the fitment and look of the gear, until this year. I don't know if they switched designers, or what but it does not look good this year.
That said, I gotta give some praise to FXR. There designers are doing great work! Them and canvas have to be the best looking gear right now. I think my next set of gear will be either canvas or fxr if this pattern continues.

Same, my 22.5 Revo LE jersey is also really fit, should be fine with the low-profile A1-plus chest protector I bought. The pants are also a bit tighter than the clutch pro I got the same size (30), still, fit me well.

FXR will only be getting better and better. We are already working on 2024 and I may say this stuff is looking very exceptional Smile

We spend a ton of time making sure our kits are mint! Not scared to take chances. 5th gear pinned.

FXR is all I wear these days. I was a die hard Helium wearer but I have since changed over to the Revo line. The LE Revo white/gold is drool worthy

Does FXR have an equivalent to fly kinetic mesh?

I like the fasthouse stuff because the material is through-dyed and holds it’s color for many rides and washes. The sublimated stuff fades after too many exposures to the sun, dirt and laundry machine. If I were to go back to sublimated, FXR would be my first choice. The designs aren’t my cup of tea but the fit and build quality seems head and shoulders above the legacy brands.

And like SPYGUY I have no idea how to decipher the gear line heirarchy.

Does anyone have insight on Fox’s spring release? I’m loving what FXR has put out lately, it looks and performs great.

Received my two sets…really nice. Fwiw, at 5’11’’ and 174 lb., 34/M fits well…about like other brands.

This is the Off Road set, which I believe to be the same as Podium.

The Revo is a bit more snug on me, particularly the jersey…but not Jett/Hunter snug.

I like the looks of the FXR stuff. And even tho the company is from my home city, I won’t wear it because pretty much everyone has it where I ride lol.

Not super happy with my thor stuff. I’ve only been wearing it for about 4 months of riding and it is already almost near the end of its life.

Looking at Renen, FXR, and Alpinestars. I’ve heard a lot of good things about FXR, but does anyone have any feedback on Renen or Alpinestars durability?
