Wait till midterms and you may just see an all the king's horses and all the king's men style investigation.
I hear you knocking but you can't come in. Regardless of the outcome of the midterms it won't change the fact that the emperor has no clothes.

What did he do again? 3 years later and all of Trumps horses and all of Trumps men couldn't get a conviction? Even with Republican Trump appointed judges and prosecutors? This was supposed to prove the Deep state conspiracy against Trump and his minions and all they could come up with after all of that was one Thin unprovable charge of making a false statement. Turns out that was a lie too. Accountability? Does that apply to all the January 6th numbskulls aided and abetted by a sitting president to overthrow a fair election and the peaceful transfer of power?

The difference so far is that the $35M investigation led to convictions and guilty pleas for illegal activity, while the current Barr-initiated investigation has not.

But you knew that, of course........
John Durham assumed office oct 2020, to investigate the origins of the "Russia Probe".

SO HE WILL HAVE BEEN AT IN 2 YEARS IN OCT 2022.

William Barr doesn't investigate anything, he may have thought about it, but he hired Durham to actually look into it OCT 2020

But you would know that, It's just you are dishonest. Ignorant, intentionally lying, and a general ballbuster.

William Barr knew things were shady, I don't call that an investigation.

Okay, you’ve been shown that Durham was appointed to his investigation in May 2019, so your refusal to accept that fact indicates that you would rather knowingly parrot a lie than to acknowledge truth.

Barr only appointed him Special Counsel because it’s harder for an incoming president to dismiss than if he weren’t appointed. Thankfully Biden didn’t try to go that route anyway.

Here’s Barr’s own, official words on the matter:

Worst thing is,
Those who are here, and out across this nation defending the bullshit because they've been trained as puppets for "their side".

There is no sides in this.
It's us vs the ones keeping us their subjects.

What you are missing is that the lack of convictions doesn’t disprove the deep state, it proves it. And yes, there are republicans in the deep state. It’s been well known that Trump was hated by the establishment Republicans. Think of it less as Dem and Republican, and more corrupt and not corrupt.

Trump wanted to drain the swamp, but that’s one thing he failed at. He didn’t realize the swamp was so thick it stopped up the drain.

How can anyone think that the guy who spent 50 years “serving” in government (read that as on the govt teet), who’s 50 years of 180k per year salary would add up to 9M gross, not taking out for living expenses, taxes, etc, and is now worth tens of millions is not corrupt, but the businessman who leaves office with less than he started with, is?

The overwhelming majority of the professional politicians from both sides are very corrupt, and will do anything to keep their power. I wouldn’t put anything past them.

If 6 was 9, if a monkey had wings instead of a tail....... you guys are tying yourself in knots with your pretzel logic. A conviction means you're innocent no conviction means you're guilty. Anything that doesn't go your way is a conspiracy. Makes my head spin. You don't seriously believe that Trump, the perpetrator of "The Big Lie", the inventor of poor me victimhood, isn't corrupt or gives a fuck about you or this country. Wake up. You're being played.

The real “Big Lie” is that an old guy that never had two brain cells to rub together, lied thru all of his campaigns, came out his basement maybe once or twice, says one thing in front of the mike and instantly his staff denies he said it, actually got more votes than any president in history, but only after counting was shut down in the middle of the night for no reason, in only the precincts he needed to win…

Wait, I guess that all does sound plausible, my bad.

Just to be clear, you're saying that Trump actually WAS guilty of the things he was impeached for but simply 'got away with it'?

Or are you only applying that pretzel logic to situations that fit your political agenda?

I don't think that you have a remote understanding of the math........

Biden isn't worth 'tens of millions', his net worth is estimated to be about $8M. And he has released his tax returns validating his income history, something that your cult leader has not been willing to do.

Here's a pretty easy understanding of Biden's financial situation.

Your boy was always going to complain about the election no matter what happened. He's the biggest complainer there ever was, that's one of the reasons he was bad for the United States of America.

The US Justice system is specifically set up to err on the side of innocence. The philosophy is that it's better to let a guilty man go free than put an innocent man in prison.

By design, there will be no easy understanding of Biden’s financials. How much was funneled through family and other organizations. You don’t think he can get away with more hokey books than you or I?

I understand… Trump would have complained no matter what… even if he’d won?

Trumps sub $2 fuel was horrible. The secure border was horrible. The unemployment numbers and economy was horrible. All terrible for the United States of America.

Why don’t you and Apl go ahead and tell us what Joe has done that you are soooo proud of. We’ve asked several times, but all you can do is spew liberal talking points.

Go ahead, what has Joe done that’s made things so much better than when Trump was in office.

I double dog dare you !

Unemployment is as low as it has ever been. The border is always going to be an issue, but we are currently seeing what a lack of low wage workers does to the economy. The wall was never a big priority for me, I think the money would be better spent restructuring worker visa rules and enforcing laws against illegal employment with mandatory jail time for employer violators. Stop paying the illegals and they won't come here anymore, keep hiring them as cheap labor and they will find a way to get here.

Keeping our international allies in good standing is important to me. Keeping NATO together and expanding our non-China allies in the pacific together is important to me.

Why did Russia invade Ukraine? What would have happened if Trump was president? The Mueller report gives a glimpse.

Ironically COVID has accelerated a bunch of wishlist items for the left and the right. Constraining labor is on the Rights wishlist, we have seen that and now minimum wage is effectively up over $10 an hour leading to inflation which sucks. The Left wanted to constrain oil to raise the price and decrease driving to lower emissions, we are seeing this and its causing inflation and it sucks. The left and the right wanted to divest from China (see Trumps tariffs), China's COVID zero policies have constrained supplies imported from them to the US, which has led to inflation which sucks. Divesting from China was always going to raise prices on stuff since we are so used to their cheap products and commodities.

So, what's the answer?
Not this

The unemployment is low only because they don’t count those that left the work force as unemployed. It’s an artificial number.

The lack of low wage workers is a direct result of all of the “free money” installed into the nation.

The border is always going to be an issue? Maybe, but it was a lot less of an issue under Trump. Are you ok with all of the fentanyl coming across the border.

Our international allies may not have liked Trump, but they knew he meant business. They have no clue what’s going to come out of Bides mouth next time he speaks.

The minimum wage is a tough issue. Raise it and products become less affordable for the ones it was supposed to help. That should be solved by competition for employees.

The inflation, as you said sucks. The largest driver of inflation is energy costs, by far. They have “necessarily skyrocketed” to help usher in electric vehicles, which would absolutely cripple our power grid. It sounds so good to the left, but we are not anywhere near ready for it. Trying to force the transition with high fuel is idiotic, and is destroying our country. As for being green, it’s a fool’s errand.

Thanks for the response, but nowhere in your post did I see even a sliver of you stating anything Joe has done to make America better. Just “he’s not Trump”

That's the thing, I don't much like most of the Dems, I'm kinda an old school midwest liberal, socially liberal, fiscally conservative. The problem is I really don't like most of what Republicans do, I'm actually philosophically aligned with some conservative views but those are mostly only the things they preach not what they practice. I really don't like when people cite Jesus or the Bible as their reason for being shitty to other people I don't believe in manifest destiny, noone is more important because they say they devote their life to some God. Show me you are a good person, dont tell me.

I think diversifying our personal transportation fuel through electrification is a good thing, not really because of the environment, but because I don't like those fuckers in the middle east and Russia holding the world by the balls. Yeah we can drill more here but I also want that to be done responsibly, I don't like getting earthquakes in the midwest because some jackasses were injecting too much frack fluid in the ground (this is personal experience, not bullshit).

How much "free money" did low wage workers get? Not many of them got PPP loans (that went to the business owners). We got what $3k in stimulus 2 years ago? I got laid off for 6 weeks in 2020, between state and federal unemployment I got less than my salary. Federal unemployment additional assistance ran out almost a year ago and state claims are as low as ever. I honestly think alot of the labor problem is older boomers leaving the workforce, that's why the unemployment claims are low and so is labor participation.

I think we could easily agree on more than what we disagree. All of this sounds reasonable. I apologize for lumping you in with Apl and bmsobiforgettherest.

I am not a huge Trump fan personally, as in I wouldn’t want him to teach my grandkids Sunday school class, but how anyone cannot see how good things were with him and how terrible they are under Joe is beyond me.

And now with the hinting at coming after even 9mm ammo ( because it’s high caliber, you’ll shout your lungs out, you know) shows he wants to take them all. I would really hate to see him try that, because I’m not sure our country will survive.

So go ahead and enlighten me, what specifically did I lie about?

I don't mind being lumped in with the more liberal users here, those guys seem like good people. Most of the more conservative users seem like good people too. The fun part about this place is that we all like motorcycles.

There's some really weird stuff happening in the world right now, I don't like it very much. What I'm not going to do is jump at the chance to blame my neighbor for it, nobody wins in that situation.

I agree, I think most on here are good people. And there is absolutely a lot of weird things going on in the world. But all of the things going on at once to disrupt things are not happening by chance.

I’m not blaming my neighbor either. But what drives me nuts with the more liberal guys in here is when you ask them what is better under Biden you normally get no response. You gave an honest one saying you didn’t really like the dems either. But how anyone can look at what’s going on and only say “ at least we got rid of Trump” is just crazy. That’s like leaving you wife for a gal that cuts off your pecker and saying “at least the last one’s gone”!

The election wasn't fraudulent, so you are lying when you insinuate it was.

What's a fact is all the crimes the Trump administration committed trying to overturn the election and what they are doing now to muck up the next election they lose. If they can't win, they'll cheat to do it. Democracy is dying while Russia laughs at us but hey Putin is a genius, right?

Is there a link to the actual talking points memo written by Page in that article? I looked it over but didn't see one. I would like to read what she actually wrote instead of Paul Sperry's second hand account of it.

Unfortunately, the "No one is above the law" Statements made by multiple Democrats only apply to Orange -man and his associates.

Spartacus.

Even if they prosecute those people, they will end up before a Clinton, Judge, Prosecution team, and Jury. We all know what happens next

Above the law.
