Got 100,000 steps in a day once't. Unsure
When I worked for Coca-Cola, I was averaging 9 miles a shift while the fat bitches in the office had their device on their wrist with a rubber band getting 20 miles.

I’m 66 and have slowed down some no doubt. Most of my life I’ve hunted, fished, played with fast bass boats, lots of gun and reloading stuff. Pretty much always had a 4x4 project truck or jeep around and a dirt bike or two. For a while I got serious into building rifle stocks for big for African style hunting rifles. Everybody needs an elephant gun or four!!

I don’t fish professional bass tournaments anymore, got tired of not cashing checks. Hard to win when you work and the other guys don’t, they fish full time. My plan was to go back out and tournament fish after I retired in Jan. but having to much fun playing and working on stuff. Maybe down the road I’ll fish some lower end tournaments.

About 8 years ago I decided to learn to play guitar, all I did was buy way to many guitars and spend time working on them and not practicing. I can play a little but suck for as long as I’ve been trying to learn to play.

One of my hobbies I tried for a while was running an SCCA car. Which was fun but cost a lot of money and a lot of the road course guys I ran across were in the Houston area were full blooded d…..kheads.

^Oh man, I've always wanted to race cars. It just seems way too expensive to even get started.

I'm sure everyone says this about themselves, but I think I'd be really, really good at it. (Far better than I am an a damn motorcycle.) I have no real-world evidence to back up my feelings on this, except that I'm always the fastest driver on the day when I go to K1 Speed or some other go-kart place. That, and I grew up in a town that you had to drive a twisty road to reach. Lots of practice with understeering and oversteering, and there are a couple spots on that road where you'd die if you went off the road.
I think it would be really cool to just get dropped into a competitive car and see how well I'd do. Probably get waxed, but...

I,ve always had numerous hobbies for every season anything really you could think of. The weirdest newer one would be sewing. A few yrs ago another driver and I where walking in to get our scale ticket at the fuel farm on Cicero ave in Chicago. I said great job sewing your patch on. Did your mother do that ? He said a matter a fact I did, in the military they taught us how. I said great job looks Profeshenal I didn’t know the military taught you how to sew. I had about 4 pairs of shorts with the button missing. So I was determined to teach myself. Every country house we ever visited in the 70,s every house had patterns for making cloths. I had quite a few outfits that where home made including a leisure suit with matching pants that chaffed your legs. Haha. Threading the needle is difficult but the rest isn’t so much. I talked with old ladies about sewing one was telling me about this huge biker that comes in for supplies. He sews the patches on his club members jackets. My next project is repairing blown out knees on Mx pants. I got stretchy nylon for thread. Hope it works. It’s actually relaxing and very rewording when you finish something.

When I was younger it was MX, shifter cart racing, BMX, plenty of surfing and camping on the beaches.

At 51 I have slowed down, read (non- fiction) and watch movies, chess, still hacking away on my guitars, I'm a amatuer gynecologist , fond of cooking but my favourate past time is gaming. F1 simulator and my Medal Of Honor games.

I always feel like riding moto but it's become really expensive and I'm long in the tooth with the associated injuries.

Another past time is deep sea fishing but I can only afford 4 to 6 trips a year.

Saw this thread a couple weeks ago and didn't really know how to respond. Kinda going through a life circle thing at the moment. Started out when I was a kid on BMX , then found out what dirt bikes and MX were. Started on 2 strokes , then switched to 4 strokes.

About 5 years ago , went back to 2 strokes , got hurt and now I find myself falling back in love with the peddle bikes. Building a couple over sized mid school BMX bikes , and now dabbing my feet into a full suspension mountain bike.

I feel completely out of my realm here. I don't know where the bicycle stuff is taking me , but I really dig building them and learning all the stuff that has changed in the past 40 years.

Besides the bikes , I've just started to really appreciate days off work to go fishing , have a BBQ , tinker around in the shop and just chill a bit. Mid life crisis I guess.

I started looking at Beach cruisers today. I had one when I lived in California and, used it to go just about everywhere while in school. Head up here early September. We gotta get a few chinook this year.

I started on atv’s when I was little. I was always envious of my friends with dirt bikes. My dad got me my first bike that didn’t run which was a tt500. He made me fix it, with his help of course and work off the bike and the parts. For the first year he had to start it for me. I quickly graduated to a kx125 then a kx250. After having bikes with the whole family, just the cost of everything and the constant pressure of having to have the latest and best gear at the local riding area and tracks just kind of ruined it for me. Now I moved to Colorado and am starting to explore the high mountain trails in my Jeep I built. I have heat in the winter and a/c during the summer 👍

Since I was 10 (now 32) everything was always about dirt bikes. I still do love watching the races and seeing the new technology but I have zero desire to ride or race. I really don't even enjoy working on them that much anymore. I played heavy amounts of golf for a few years but after we started having kids that slowed down from 3-5 times a week to 3-5 times a year. The last 4 years everything has been Archery for me. Not just hunting either. I got a ready to hunt bow 9 years ago and shot it ok but had no clue what I was doing. 4 years ago I joined our newly forming archery club and started hanging around 2 of the more seasoned guys. For some reason they liked me, most likely cause I was a train wreck and really started teaching me. Now its all I do year round. 3D tournaments, indoor paper tournaments and hunting. I learned how to work on, set up, and tune my own bows. The most relaxing thing I do is sit down and build a fresh dozen arrows from scratch. Now this past week the wife has started shooting and is absolutely loving it! Its a great way for me to get out more in the fall, and have some family backyard time.

I used to go surfing every single chance I could when the waves were up.. Now, I make excuses on why I'm not going to go out - too choppy, too much current, looks slow, too crowded, wind wrong direction, will get better later with the tide, tomorrow will be better, etc. I still skate fairly regularly, the skatepark is much more consistent.. haha

Been going hard at Moto since I first got hooked when I was 13-14 years old.. 54 now… only time off is for injuries.. have changed it up some over the years with GNCC”s, some enduro”s but always come back to Moto, nothing can replace the feeling of pounding out motos, I have always bicycled, road and mountain. I will never stop mountain biking, sometimes more fun than Moto as I don’t have to stress about the potential for more serious injuries. I have golfed over the years, actually got pretty good for a while, but I don’t get any satisfaction from it. Got into restoring and riding/racing vintage/ Evo bikes for the last 10 years, pretty much done with the restorations, Got that out of my system. Been playing guitar for 20 years, was improving steadily but have dropped off a bit after some close friends I used to play with are no longer around. I really enjoy hiking/ walking in the woods with my yellow lab… occasionally ride my vintage Suzuki GSXR750 around the lake… much slower than I used to….my whole life has revolved around training and riding MX..I have thoroughly enjoyed the lifestyle, many of my friends have moved on to adventure riding or woods riding, I”ll be there soon enough….
