5-5 after 6 years out of the game. Impressive. Hope he continues the trend. Truly, one of the greats to swing a leg over a bike.

Anyone who doubted him doesn’t know what a legend is.

I really thought that Cairoli was going to have his number and we would see RD finish 7-10. I’m impressed

100% agree man! Was a hell of a ride today. Some write that guy off before the 1st race even happened. I said that I thought he would be battling to get on the box. I got laughed at.

Clueless bastards. How's that crow taste?

I think Dungey has been putting in the work.

Based on Rick Johnson's conversation with Cairoli, he's barely done any 30s until he arrived in the USA which is odd!

Dungey will surely race the whole season and KTM will have to support it, he is their best shot. I wouldn't be surprised to him win the title when it is all said and done. If that happens, what a story!

Always amazing how people bag on him for being vanilla and not having ridiculous speed. He’s such a great role model for the up and comers. Definitely a legend regardless how the rest of 22 goes

Dude is fucking legit. To me, he looks the same as he did in 2016. Even the podium interview is nearly the same as then too lol

Can he win one? After today, I think so. Just a few adjustments and a little luck on his side, and we may see the win total change a little.

I mean he was still a minute back at the end. Still a hell of a ride in an unprecedented comeback! No shame in a 5-5. I still think a win is a stretch

Edit: I’m wrong a lot so he probably does

A minute back in 5th, where were the other 35 PROs. Give me a break.

Yes Dungey! Great ride. And too think it will only get better as he gets more time on the bike.

Did you miss the part where I said it was a good ride?

Can he win one? I don't know, but you can count on him getting better as the season wears on.

Great ride.

He went 10-6 at round 1 in 2010….will be an interesting summer. The diesel is warming up!

How can anyone not like Dungey? One of the best and most humble champions ever IMO.

Back in 2016 I wasn't really a fan of him. However as the years passed, I came to appreciate him. Today he showed what a legend he really is, glad I got to see him racing again.

5&5 for an rusty "old" man, that's a very good day at the office.
And you can see the way he's riding there's still much souplesse missing but that's now wait a few racing and he's back in shape.
And what about Tony 7&6 for an retired racer how's riding for fun, man why isn't he go a few years earlier.
