Is Musquin racing some of the nationals now?
And if so, I noticed he is on the old shape KTM, but Cairoli is on the new shape, why is that?

So, uh, did Marv get an offer to race outdoors...and beyond...?

I hope Cairoli has the points lead after the first 2 rounds and then is like "well shoot, I better keep going". Cool

I asked. No, Marv isn’t racing outdoors, just riding with Cairoli for fun. He was on the old bike as they still had one for him to screw around on as they have all the new bikes getting ready for Plessinger, Dungey and Cairoli.

I'm loading up now...heading west on Wednesday. Gonna hit the first 3 at least. If Tony and Ryan do as good as I hope...maybe add some more to my schedule. Probably have to live on bologna to afford the gas but gosh dang it....it's the NATIONALS fellasWoohoo . Good stuff Michael.

How is it in So CAL you have national caliber riders on the same track as 85's, vets and beginner riders ? Do they not split anything up for practice ?

Nope, no SoCal track does split practices. Somewhere around the mid 2000s we somehow forgot what that concept was…

I grew up with the bros and I’m not their biggest fan, but I can say, I’d rather them not fold up and keep giving opportunities for riders. Maybe scaling back to a smaller operation with lower tier riders will give them an opportunity reset and do right by anyone they need to.

Hell, I get nervous around my local pros in Australia let alone world class riders. The speed the hit corners at and how early they accelerate out of corners is mind boggling.

At my locals they will split them up if a crew of pros turn up on a weekend . I assume they do bulk riding mid week because I rarely see them on the weekend even on off racing weeks for the safety reason.

Not exactly true. LACR splits the vet track up for mini's and Pala was doing it a month before they shut down for the national this year.

I feel like so many ppl are trying to make a big deal out it like oooh they want to ride the old bike.
Nooo. Marv wanted to do a bit of outdoor practice. Coz he isn't racing and ktm don't have many new models available. They gave him one of his bikes from last year.

You can barely hear Marvins bike, such a flawless riding style. High gear, low RPMs but fast AF. Would probably top-5 if he would line up at Pala.

Has any one mentioned Marvin’s on the old bike yet?

I wasn't making the statement based on good bike vs bad bike. I just think the fact that he is on the old bike says that he is riding his own bike and NOT a bike that the factory gave him. They wouldn't want him out there on the outgoing model

He is. Cairoli said he was bored, so invited him out.
