F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

You see Ferrandis for about 20 seconds in a 7 minute video.

I would guess Laird Hamilton but I don't think he'd be too stoked to surf Waco, Texas

This initial and number naming business has gotten way out of hand.

You all, just need a decoder ring! But, yes, it’s out of hand.

Agreed.
Count McG194 as another one who is sick of it.

Yes, it's the first decent wave pool built in the US other than the Surf Ranch in Lemoore, CA. BSR Cable Park in Waco (now rebranded as Waco Surf) was built by a wealthy roofing company owner to play in his yard. Rumor is that cost about 25 million to build. BSR turned out to be a very popular destination for surfers of all levels. It's a cheap surf trip for most surfers which is about $1300 per day per surfer for a private rental. Surf Ranch is a much better wave located in the farm fields of Central California. It's the only one of it's kind right now and they are getting huge money for it. It's approximately $500 per wave and each surfer is paying about 7K each for a private 1.5 day rental. Yes, you heard that right and I'm sure it will be hard for Moto guys to believe surfers are throwing down 7K for a day and a half in the pool which equates to 15 priority waves.

I'm lucky enough to know the right people in this industry and I have been to both wave pools multiple times over the years. They are completely different experiences and different waves but both are really fun in their own ways.

Surfing is about to blow up in the next 5 years with tons of wave pools being under development around the Country. There will be tons people learning how to surf in landlocked areas. Sexton, Roczen, and Ferrandis are all into it and it's fun to watch them struggle to learn as it shows they are human when not on a bike.
