Saw a big triple that seems to be claiming some guys. Bogle shorted the beegesses out of it.

not sure if it was the same jump or not but hunter lawrence cased one big time and had a pretty nasty looking crash

Same one. Wageman, Hunter, Bogle and others cased it or crashed. Word is they are changing/shortening that jump. It is massive.

That’s weak if they tame it down. Finally something to separate the riders and then the ones that don’t like it demand it to be changed so that they can. 👎

Don’t see RedBud shortening the leap because not everyone can do it… Dry

Now THAT is the kinda triple we need with modern bikes. Something that separates the ones who are willing to take the risk for the reward. These bikes can handle it and these are the best of the best riders in the world, for God sake I hope they don't change it.

You wanna take out the whoops also? Those are causing a lot of injuries...

This is Supercross. Toughest tracks with the best riders. They can choose to jump it or not.
I'm tired off all these "deathcross" discussions....people want to complain the tracks are so lame & cookie cutter but once an obstacle is put in that can really separate riders you'll still get complaints. Riders will always push the limits and injuries will always happen. If we modify the tracks based on injury rate the last few rds will end up being a track full of rollers and tabletops.

They should’ve built it like the quad from Atlanta 2010. Big jump but still had the safe option to do standard triple

Looks amazing and almost easy to do but the cost of a small error is way too high. Imagine doing that in a crowd on the first lap. No bueno.

This is the type of obstacle is what will separate the riders. If the rider does feel comfortable hitting it, don’t. No one said the rider has to jump it. These guys know what they are capable of.

YOU MEAN THEY BUILT AN OBSTACLE THAT WASN'T AT THE TYPICAL COOKIE CUTTER LENGTH AND GUYS ARE CRASHING OUT???

Ya don't say.

It's almost as if....wait for it....obstacles at unique lengths/distances round to round would force the riders to figure out the track, change rhythms, and improve the racing entirely.

There is an option to not triple it. No one is forcing anyone to jump the entire thing. Don't do it if you don't want to.

Or at least get the jump dialed in before trying to whip it and coming up short…

I mean look at B Ray, a dude that struggles to make mains, throwing a massive oppo whip over it with ease but apparently it’s too dangerous for the top guys. Oh well, nothing we can do about it.
