Went to the last X-Games there...among the best Moto X Games ever if not THE BEST...well..to everyone except Hanny.
Silly
We stayed in Hermosa Beach and partied like Rockstars..on Rockstar's dime, too!

Great Times.

I miss OX a helluva lot when I think about that event.

I always wondered if they could make Supercross track at a venue having the pits in the middle like a NASCAR type track, any thoughts... or am I just crazy?

Seriously....why is the Coliseum not being used....

It's the best venue for tracks in history.

Peristyle folks.... it doesn't get much cooler than that.

That place is the best. I remember going to races there as a kid. Because it’s an old stadium it’s got such a cool feel.

Going back to the roots is important! SX at LA Coliseum could work great. A SX at Bristol within (read to close) the dirt weeks could work to. You've everything covered in dirt, you only need to dump some more dirt on it create the jumps and the "last coliseum" turns in a great SX track where you can do something special with the banking.

I was at 87’ and 92’. Was cool although at the time they tried to keep the track off of the football field. Not as big of an issue now. Moved from LA in 04’. Should definitely try to have a race their again.

Raced at the Coliseum in 82 for the "Last Superbowl"....which as it turns it wasn't. Watched the pros the night before...and did amateur Supercross with CRC the next day. What an experience.

From my scrapbook.

I had pretty much outgrown that YZ80 at that point....lol.
