Kx250 2022.. have I been sold a 450 system ???

Is it just me or is my silencer stupidly long ? I’m pretty sure this system is for a 450 ?
Just wanted to ask here before I ring up Monday morning and say.

I’m pretty sure the 250 system is shorter on the silencer ?

I don’t think the 450 system would fit but maybe the silencer would ?

Yeah that doesn’t look right. When I had one the 250 pc is a lot shorter.

Yea that’s what it should look like, is that on a 2022 ? Same bike as 21 but just wondering. I also wonder if the header pipe fits to from a 450, I’m the only 250 I’ve seen with a silencer so long

It was a 21 but it’s the same. I had the 450 before and it looks like you have the right header.

Thanks for that, this is what I thought, now I’ll have to try tell them it’s the wrong one which will be fun.

It may be the euro spec pipe they sell as well.

They sell a version for AMA pro racing and it's made to be quieter. Maybe you got the longer quieter one?

I contacted the shop I bought it from and was told it was the correct one.

I didn’t believe them so contacted pro circuit themselves and unfortunately I’ve been sold a exhaust system for a 2020 KX250 not a 2022

I knew something wasn’t correct but after forwarding pro circuit the part number on the exhaust it’s for a 2020 bike.

I'd ask Pro Circuit to help correct the situation if the resaler won't resolve it.

If a shop is misrepresenting product fitment, then Pro Circuit ultimately gets a bad rap by association and will need to stop supplying them product.

I bet Pro Circuit will help. Just a hunch.

I’m really disappointed with the shop here in the UK Because I’ve basically been told the 2020 kx exhaust will fit the 2021-2022 and everyone knows this is a totally different bike.

Having to get pro circuit involved tho at least gives me a little bit of hope it will be rectified.

I knew it was wrong, I’ve ran the bike with the exhaust on, but only on the stand so hopefully it will taken back otherwise things will get messy.

The ti pro.and non pro are the same length, the insides are different for sound testing. To pass ama sound tests.
