Do you realize that you can buy a size lager than usual and the tight gear will fit you slightly looser and be 10x more comfortable than the baggy and heavy gear from 10-15 years ago?
The heavy gear?

Lol 10lbs pants. Were your boots 40 lbs? if pants are that much lighter now they must be real thin now. do they wear out after a few uses? I love $150 pants that last 4 rides. I still have a shit ton of Thor gear from when they weighed 10 lbs

Late 90s and all 2000s Fox gear is my favorite. I don't know why they don't make gear like that anymore. The fit was good but it was the graphic designs that were perfect.

I also miss No Fear, AXO, Alias, One, etc.

The Fox latinese shit or whatever Dunge was clad in around 2010 was fucking horrendous.

The light weight gear everyone complains about breaking fast, I’ve never had a problem with. I love not feeling like I’m wearing a trash bag while I ride.

Didn't read all the posts but the first thing I thought when I read the title was......Hunter Lawrence! WTF? They showed him on the gate and even my girlfriends jaw dropped and said OMG! That's AWEFUL!

No one is asking for LBZ bagginess…just a little breathing room. RIP the good days of Thor. I was diehard Thor. Their stuff has looked so cheesy to me for many years now.

I will fight you over the dalmatian gear. Next to the Fox zebra gear that was some of the coolest from that era.

Early 90s for sure. Last few years with the return of neon and the TLD clown clothing a few years back comes close to the ulgiest gear.

Anyone ever buy Ocelot gear from the late 80's? They always had an ad in MXA.....never saw it at the track.

The big problem with the tight gear is it never sits at the waist. It's all super low rise, paris hilton style. Makes the waist band pinch when you're hunched over and the pants never want to stay up. It's hilarious that Fly has all this BOA 'technology' to supposedly keep your pants up when moving around the seat when they could just design them to actually fit our natural anatomy and it wouldn't be an issue. Look at the gear from the early 90's and back, it was all tight but was actually cut to fit a human body. This trend extends to regular street clothes as well, super frustrating. Plumber's crack everywhere. Probably a scam trend so the manufacturers can skimp out on some extra material.

The Alpinestar stuff that Jett Lawrence wears is way too freaking tight. I don't want anyone to be able to see my cock when i'm walking around.

I found an old set of one industries gear circa 2012 I used to wear and the pants were probably 20x heavier than a full set of new TLD gear..so much unnecessary plastic and rubber junk sewed on.

Finding a direct correlation on here between “I like the gear when I could still see my toes” and I don’t think that’s exactly the gear company’s fault.
