Hope Adam can get his orthopedic issues sorted out and start dicing for #1 plates. Dude, if it weren't for bad luck, this kid would have no luck

Get healed up, AC

Yes, it was second to Osborne though.

And I guess "full series" is up to interpretation, since it was abbreviated to 8 rounds in 6 locations in '20.

If he never does another thing in Mx or Sx, he is still a 250 National Champion…. That is an accomplishment of monumental proportions that only a select few can claim. Pretty sure he has made some serious coin in the process… this sport is a meat grinder…..

I think any generation of racers has one or two guys who just never seem to be able to keep it on two wheels, and can never stay healthy.

I don’t think any of them quite had the hype and junior dominance as AC.

Surely it would get to a point in AC’s upcoming contract negotiations that he rides that factory kawi for free on a performance based deal. He’s spent a careers worth of time on the sidelines on their dime.

Man, I don't know what the answer to his woes is but Adam is a fan favorite no matter what. I feel like everyone wants to see him do well and he hasn't even had the chance to show us what he's capable of over an entire season. He crushed it in outdoors 2020, and if he hadn't done that ghost ride at Loretta's that title might have been his. Hopefully he can come into outdoors healthy. He was riding amazing in San Diego before he did his knee.

He's still young, hungry, smart and fast as fuck. I'm sure he'll get there.

It's like Kawi has invested so much in him they just can't let him go, same as forkner. They need championships from these two. At this point though I'm not sure kawi would recoup their losses even with a championship.

AC will heal up and win races. He is already one of the fastest guys to throw a leg over a bike, he has a massive social media following, and brings a refreshing attitude and insight to his media interactions.

He will be a factory rider, with a salary for a long time.

Other side of that is AC is so incredibly marketable... Probably only second to KRoc and Jett in terms of marketing potential for any current riders. Squeaky clean, fast as hell, smart... He's not just adding value on the bike.

I wouldn't compare AC and Forkner. He may not have a premier class championship but he brings a ton of value and exposure to Kawasaki and his personal sponsors. Rider salaries are marketing expenses, and with AC there are no "losses" to recoup.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

They need to cut AC and Forkner loose.. i love AC and loathe Forkner, but they cant spent the next 5 years with riders made out of chalk.

He has been very comparable to Dean Wilson in my opinion. Up to this point anyway... he has a longer career ahead of him. Both almost won multiple 250SX titles and multiple races... didn't do it. Both Dominated 250 outdoor titles. They both have charisma and off track flash.

Move to 450s and both have heat wins, and each 3 podiums. Dean has a 3rd at MEC and AC has a win.... MEC is a half the field shows up clown show though. But wait.. AC is fastest in practice all the time? If that counted Christoph Pourcel would be in the hall of fame.

The only thing different is AC completed 1 outdoor season.

AC is a modern Dean Wilson? Hot take or nah

Probably an unpopular opinion but maybe Cianciarulo should give MXGP a try...

That would be epic… I don’t think that would be an unpopular opinion… The GP”s are World class again, to have an American competing would just add to the excitement.
