Thieves Suck...Rich Sheperd (Align Media, does photo work for Racer X, KTM, Honda, Husky, TLD, Fox, etc...) got a ton of camera gear jacked from the "photo den" at the Anaheim stadium. Between lenses, bodies, and other stuff they snagged close to 20k in gear, plus some stuff from Travis Fant of Motocross Action/Dirt bike Mag. Emery, his co-worker, came up with a cool idea to help him rebuild his arsenal while giving some moto fans a unique piece of artwork. Check it out below and hit them up if your'e interested.
Emery Photo - Man, this weekend was a blow to the face. Somehow during the night show at Anaheim 2, some asshole thief managed to get in the the photo den where we all work, and stole @tfant612’s backpack, filled it with @shepherdphotos Canon 200-400 lens, his 1DX, and an RF adapter. Everything is probably long gone, but not for nothing: Camera friends if you see a super identifiable (seen in this photo) 200-400 for sale let us know.
If anyone knows Rich, you know he’s one of the most solid humans ever. Without getting into details he has had a really tough couple of years and this is just another lame thing to add to his list. San Diego is always a favorite round to shoot for us, and also marked one year since he got cleaned out by a bike in Houston which sent him into the ICU for a few days. Pulling off this idea to shoot opening ceremonies from a neighboring building is something we have been talking about for years and were really hyped on capturing - Rich nailed it.
I was contemplating not posting this but honestly feel like it’s a cool idea and a good way to soften the blow of this whole deal. Let’s do a print sale on this Petco Park, San Diego opening ceremonies shot with all proceeds going to Rich and his lost gear.
Two options, both printed with a white border on matte finish:
24”x36” - $300 shipped within the US, $400 shipped anywhere in the world.
8”x12” - $75 shipped within the US, $100 shipped anywhere in the world.
LINK IN BIO TO PAY - PLEASE ADD YOUR ADDRESS IN DESCRIPTION (sorry this is not very well done or planned, just an idea on how to do something cool for Rich.) All orders must be made by 2/5/22. Thank you all for the continued support of what we do.

It is: @Mike-Emery-5
Sidenote: I’m so sick of hearing this thieving shit constantly happening every year at SX; it seems to be an annual occurrence at at least one of the Anaheim or Atlanta rounds.

I swear....they ought to start taking a finger for first offense, then the hand....keep going until these lowlifes can't physically steal anymore.
They have a guy posted at the entrance to the photo den, but it's a shared workspace.
usually on the show floor level.
And now you want the same ld. I knew it was fishy. I get to mt prospect it takes them forever to figure it out. Oh the ld goes to O’Hara airport, haha you f er. Massive extra details , I call the broker and let him hv it. What you lie and sayit,s not haz mat and it is. You can loose your authority and your brokerage lic ovr that one. And lie about the address. Etc I was trained by the head of the dot at the biggest pipeline co in America. What kind of bs is this. I,m charging 200 an hour and no wait time of to 2 hrs to start detention. Or I,m leaving with the load and making some phone calls. The state police will hv the ld. Broker a hole taking advantage of my guy- dispatcher. Yeah he has a Serbian accent because he lives in Serbia. As a victim you stand up for yourself more than usual. Detention is usually 25 an hr. He says we,ll pay it the load is very important.
