Austin, you and I are probably not far off on most things, and for a little inside info, I spent 34 in the military, this comes from the heart. What this military has become is a disgrace, in my opinion. Rotten to the core. I’ll leave the details of why for a non Moto post, as it is political, which never ends well!

My boy's are in the Navy in Coronado, it's just now getting to 7:30am and they have already swam in the Pacific ocean for almost two hours. Don't ever make the mistake of demeaning these guy's for what they are going through so they can protect us. You had your 34 years and that's great, but obviously it didn't end well for you.
Don't take everyone else down just because your life sucks.
And to the OP, congratulations on your Marine. You should be proud.

Now that we’re in Non Moto, I’ll expand. The military ended quite nicely for me, and when I retired, I missed the comraderie, the esprit de Corp, and the brothers I served proudly with very much. But over the past 8-10 years, the services have changed. They are led by corrupt, mortally bankrupt political hacks from the top down. Members and ratting out other members if they don’t have the politically correct point of view, conservatives are being ejected from the service, and the services are getting extremely soft and woke. Standards are being lowered so a weaker sex can the “the first” at something while jeopardizing the safer of the unit that gets stuck with them. I saw it all first hand, this isn’t coming from the cheap seats. And I know history quite well. These same boys and girls that are being praised here will just as quickly bash you door down and drag you off to the brig if their corrupt leaders say so. I’m sure there were plenty of German parents real proud of their boys when they were selected to the SS. So if someone chooses to serve under this corrupt regime, I have no respect for them; I consider them one of those that I cannot trust. These are harsh words, but I’ve had enough of this military that won’t defend our country from the coup that just happened in 2020.

You have no clue what you are talking about. Yes there are some really weak minded people in the military, just as in the whole world. Your comments about coming to your door are 100% incorrect. Me and my family didn't choose to work under any president and we won't get into that stupid comment you made. My sons have sworn to protect the US Flag and the constitution, nothing else.
It appears that you think you know what's going on, but in reality you are just a very disgruntled person that is in a very unhappy place in their life.

He sucked on a motorcycle, but was hell on a soccer field.
Not my biological son, but we helped raise him since his dad stayed in Camaroon after sending his family here to have a better life.
He and my biological son are like brothers.

N'daih has been in Japan for the last 4 months and we're expecting him back in March.
