Heard reports the stadium was packed, but has Feld released attendance figures yet?
Great start to 2022 SX season.

place holds 45.500 so I assume Feld will say 41,000 like always even though you can see in the replay that the upper deck is half empty ...

just like always

I’d estimate around 55-65% of capacity.

Btw, under the circumstances…our here in Cali…that’s pretty damn good.

I thought it was pretty good really. I'd say 75%? There was some room in the upper portions of the top deck but overall I was impressed with how many were there. Pits were packed as well!
I'll be very curious on Oakland however with a negative test or Vaccination being required for the race. I know of a few people that were turned off by that personally. Not trying to go all political, just really curious on what that turnout looks like with those restrictions. Especially in a stadium so large it could look like an A's game.

I was at A1 and it seemed about 70 percent full which is pretty good for a California with all the shit we have going on here.

I’m headed to Oakland next weekend for round 2 and like someone said earlier, I’m curious how it’s gonna go. I ride with a lot of people in NorCal who just hate going to the Bay for anything. In Oakland they’ll just smash cars in the lot of the stadium so even driving down there is sketch. I think last year they busted up a mechanics rental and stole all his tools.

This is coming from someone who still has a house in the bay too (for now… lol)

The top deck corners always look empty, but a lot of those people are milling around the concourse. It’s amazing how many people are there not watching the race.

I was in Oakland last year for work, it looked like a third world country. Outside my hotel by the airport, it was like Skid Row for miles.

2020 A1 was a full house. Very few empty seats. This year was about 70% full. I’m just happy to have fans back in general.

We hear "sold out" and "packed" every year...yet, the images of the stands tell a different story.
That being said, stands looked about 40% capacity, factor in people at bathrooms and snacks and spreading covid in the halls, maybe give it 60% capacity.

Need to come back to New Orleans if they want the big numbers.

Manny remember when it was packed with 86000 fans for, I think 1986 or so? That's a lot of folks for a stadium race.

Ive gone the past 20 years to A-1 and I have never seen it like that. It was empty. Parts of the outfield whole sections were almost empty.

They used to sell those two slices for 10 bucks a seat and they'd still be empty

Yeah, the hallways of Anaheim are usually filled with the strange creature, the “OC. Bro”.

This species is unique to Orange County, and is always on the hunt for sick IG content and the not so elusive companion species, the silicone enhanced “OC Hoe”…

Remember, the race is not as important as being seen at the race, BRO!!

The stands looked pretty full to me.
