Last time we went was Dallas right before pandemic hit. For 3 people it was like $500 for decent tickets, parking and all. Not to mention I almost got in a fight with the drunk idiot next to me that was flipping the bird yelling F you around a bunch of kids because he thought the parade lap was the start of the race and people were passing Reed. Outdoors you can go somewhere else at least. SX is just overpriced for decent seats and then you are stuck next to idiots half the time. Not to mention $40 for parking. Rather just watch it at home with a pizza.
Good grief, Dallas must be overpriced for some reason. I just got lower level, mid section seats at Glendale for $37 a seat plus the "convenience fee" of $17 per ticket, all in for $52 a seat. Parking is typically $25. Got 8 seats for a little over $420. And they are decent seats. The highest priced seats I saw was $85 a seat. So for $50-$100 a seat all in, that's not bad in my opinion.

Round 5 Glendale. Like the football stadium tracks, and the weather will damn sure be better than Oregon in February!

I'm surprised you're not hitting Seattle.

I'm going to Seattle. All the other places are too far for me.

Which race would you recommend hopping a plane to a watching if you could pick one round anywhere? I've been to Indy 10x and Atlanta 2x. Looking to expand my horizons and travel farther to a race just to get away since travel has been so limited last couple years. Been thinking about Daytona but don't know if I would enjoy how spectating is compared to a stadium. I like to get there as soon as practice starts and move around all day. But theres a lot of other things that go on with Daytona too besides the race so can't make up my mind

If I want rain and mud I'll just go ride Albany in March. Wink Seattle has a history of having crappy weather and that's not my thing, riding or watching.

Shit. You been to an NFL, NBA, or NHL game lately? A concert? Sx isn't all that pricey in relation, and it has it's own vibe that is different than outdoors.

Going to Glendale and Foxborough this year.

I went to the Patriots game last night in Foxborough. The woman that scanned my ticket asked me, "if I'd ever been to the stadium before". I said, "Yeah, I've been here for a lot of Supercrosses... but I didn't know they played other sports here."

No I haven't. I just feel like it wasn't that great when I look at what I got vs what I spent after going to SX. On the other hand when I leave an outdoor I don't really have any regrets and it's always awesome. Even sludging around in the mud at Red Bud. I still love SX but I think it's just more enjoyable to watch it from home.

I looked at Blazers tickets the other day. A couple hours entertainment, 4 decent seats was over $1,000. A buddy got Metallica tickets and they were $450 a seat for average seats. I don't even bother pricing Seahawks tickets.

I spent $425 on 4 good seats (section 219 row 3) at Glendale, including pit passes. We will spend all day there and be thoroughly entertained watching the best riders in the world race our favorite sport. Yeah, there's airfare, a car, and VRBO for 5 days but getting the hell out of rainy Oregon in February to watch sx = PRICELESS! Smile

When I retire (8 years and counting!) my wife and I are taking the big RV and following the entire Supercross and Motocross series across the country. I plan to tow a Ranger and have a 150sx in the bed, and ride every damn track I can find during the trip. Moto=life in our household.

Does anyone know if we can use Monster Cans this year to get into the pit party, or do we have to buy the Fan Fest package in advance due to Covid? Just wanting to make sure I get all the bases covered in advance this year since we didn't get to have SX in Glendale last year.

I recommend Minneapolis. The stadium is top notch and they have plenty of other stuff to do while you're there. If you do go there I would recommend staying out by the mall of america and riding the train from there to the stadium. The airport is right by the mall too so you probably wouldn't even need a rental car while you're there. I've been to Indy and St. Louis and Minneapolis is by far my favorite, I was super bummed when they took it off the schedule.

Arlington. The last 2 years of getting to go to 3 and 4 Supercross races here in Texas were awesome. But you know, “the industry is in Cali”🥴

Arlington for sure and that'll probably be it.

I'm doing too much traveling already to try to fit others into the schedule, but if I could fit it in, I would love to go to either Atlanta (awesome track and E/W shootout) or A1.

I’m in the same boat, my honeymoon trip was cancelled when covid first hit in 2020 and airline wouldn’t refund, so we are going to the Indy from North Carolina this year.

Already made a reservation and bought a gift card to St. Elmos steakhouse
