I know it’s a long shot but maybe it’s good to share so others don’t have it happen to them but they finally got me please keep a lookout a 2021 yz 450 was stolen from my garage last night.

No it wasn’t I wish there was location services on these bikes from the oem or something they cut locks off the rotors and everything I thought I was prepared I wasnt

That's savage man, I hope it makes its way back to you, however long a shot that is, it does happen.

Tonnes of it in the UK, they'll put a shitty DIY tracker on your van at the practice track here, and you need balls like watermelons or brains like a peanut to take a bike to the track in a pickup or on an open trailer... Fucking ridiculous how bad its gotten.

Man that sucks. I'm sure the bike is in the city by now. It sucks that law enforcement is of little help in these situations.

I saw on the news that a guy stole $700 worth of stuff from Walmart and was given $75k bail, but steal a bike worth thousands and oh well. Total bs.

Dogs, cameras, locks, lights etc are all great......but what you really need is insurance. I hope you had it so you can replace the bike for the deductible cost.

Man I hate hearing about this stuff. Especially during Christmas? That's about as low as a person can go. Hope you get your bike back. I'd like to see the thief caught and arrested.....but just like here , it'll be a slap on the wrist , and they'll go steal another one tomorrow.

On the theft thing : last week I was driving through Portland , and passed one of the vagrant camps. I see this homeless dude riding a high dollar Santa Cruz MTN bike through the camp. Was thinking " Someone is missing a nice bike right now ".

I’m so sorry Moto brother. I hate crap like this with a purple passion.

We need some DA’s that have a backbone and a stomach for prosecuting these assholes to the fullest extent of the law. I’m sure the thieves in this larceny have a criminal record that will reflect previous crimes of this nature. Just keep releasing them so they can continue to victimize the hard working people who have made a good life for themselves.

One other thing you might consider is to not have your name on your bike. It makes it very easy for someone who sees it at the track, or in the back of your truck at McDonald's, to figure out where you live.

Was walking my mutts in a new area a few weeks back and found a crazy huge homeless camps with fencing and everything. Mountain bike parts everywhere. Wish they would clean this shit up and kick these fucking scum bags out. Luckily I had the two savages with me, wasn’t too concerned about anyone fucking with me.

There are times when you just can't prepare enough. It sounds like the OP did everything he could: cameras, locks, dogs. Jeez, it's getting so I don't want to be a stand up citizen anymore. I'm just going to go rob banks and shit. Why not? they won't do anything to me. I'm kidding, of course, but I wonder how many thieves feel that way.

Homeowners doesnt cover it, you need a motorcycle policy.
