Hello,
I have a 5 gallon drum of VP Racing MR PRO6 and I’m just looking for some info and help running it.
I don’t normally use race fuel and probably won’t be using it after I use the 5 gallons I have but I was lucky enough to have the drum given to me as a gift from a friend.
Once I open it how long does it last?
Will I have to drain the fuel tank on my bike after finishing? I’ll be using the bike mainly on weekends.
Should I separate the 5 gallons into smaller containers with no air in them once I open it?
Any help is much appreciated.

You can manage the smell by draining it back into the metal can.

You drain it back into the VP can?
Is there something different about the smell of PRO6 compared to other race fuel? I thought the smell was the best bit 😁
How long do you think Vp c12 purchased in bulk - a large tank. I got the vp steel cans for free when I purchased the fuel. They,ve been sealed the spout is plastic. Stored in garage with no heat. I think it was only below zero for only a few days this winter. But I wasn’t home then. Any idea ? Thx
Call VP they’ve been great when I had similar questions.
Pour that rocket fuel in your big rig! Get out of Detroit faster💪
I,ve been off for 2 months getting injections, back, neck, nerves on back of shoulder. I,ve been calling co.s for 2 weeks wages r less than 1/2 of 19. And they don’t call back. I start mon in Chicago flatbed, Stepdeck mostly, some curtain side & rgn. I haven’t done that since 98 & I quit the pipeline co in Feb. it’s the only job that pays anything, the rates didn’t crash as bad. I get 30% it’s a lot of work tarping , straps, chains, 200 bungees, etc and the work stops in Nov. I,m too lean to be outside for hrs in the winter cold. it’s a young person’s job the other freight is scary bad , I figured why run the 18-39 hr days 7 days a week for nothing. But back to the bike my last JM engine I ran 110 leaded from a pump . I couldn’t run it the 2nd week , detonation.
c12 is a better fuel I hope it works.
