Talviku i don't know, he apparently has nothing lined up right now according to his insta. He was great in '20, but didnt do much this year for whatever reason.

Fredericksen is outstanding IMO, but his gate drops are awful... he is the next Forato, needs to be on a 450
And Forato has done nothing this season on the 450 which is very surprising.
You think/?

He got injured , and then had a slow recovery, but has run top 10 a few times,

He has no MX2 career to speak of, but he could easily be the next Clement Desalle or Jasikonis.

Where would you expect him to be, because anywhere in the top 15 is bloody decent,

Needs a good winter , and come back fit and ready ..

Remember what Lupino was like

Forato will be better

Mike Gwerder stays with WZ KTM. EMX250 in 2022, MX2 in 2023.

There has been a lot of talk about the impact of covid on sponsorship. What teams are going to quit after the season?
- Assomotor

Supposedly Talviku has some offers, but from what is heard, nothing to write home about.

He is one of a number of guys that just isnt good enough, despite being a bloody good rider.

Too many EMX 250 guys that should be in MX2.

He needed a break out year and he hasnt had one.

MX2 and EMX250 should be an open class. With two types of riders. The ones going for the "World Championship" are in and race all events (and are non-eligible for the "European Cup") and riders who race only the European rounds are two championship standings the normal WC and the EC standing. With open qualifications it would raise the level of the MX2 class and some riders for the "European Cup" will qualify and score points on sand tracks and others on real hard pack.

I think the same, my option =
125cc till 17y
250cc till 22y
MX2 till 25y
Open = Open

+ I prefer a Superlicence for World Championship, minimum 5 till 10 EMX250 points for example

Get out with that witchcraft of reason!!!

How that fancy "reason" of yours will pay for papa Guiseppe's new yacht? huh? You gonna pay us and you gonna like that. We will squeeze your worthless body for every penny and ditch you the moment you turn 23.

Nice! He surprised me how decent he was on that bike. He had been going backwards quite a bit in MX2 the last few years so didn't have big hopes. Also the fact that Anton Gole kept pace with him in the Swedish championship. But Östlund was sooo much faster than Gole in MXGP it wasn't even close.

Surprised me too. Judging by his performances in the latter stages of his mx2-career I wouldn’t bet any money he could even score points in mxgp. He was way better than expected, even on hardpack!

It says that unless you are a factory bike in MX2, you cant really show anything.

Without factory horsepower, you dont get out of the gate, and if you dont get out of the gate , you are mired with 15 other guys that dont have the power either.

This is why the likes of Forato, and Fredericksen need to be on a 450 NOW.. because they are too big for a 250, and will do nothing in MX2 without factory engines. Forato realised that , Fredericksen needs to .

We saw Olsen and Watson both struggle in 250 because of their size , Ostlund was just doing the same , but on a much slower bike.

Olsen and Watson struggle in MXGP to.

Expected allot more out off those guys because of the reason you said, but in real time this season what have they really showed?

They’ve not been bad, but i expected more results upfront and more raw speed, especially the raw speed lacked quite allot of both.

So a 450 ride is not a guarantee for succes and results.

Struggled??

Who do expect they will be beating that they arent.. both have run top 10 , both have had injuries, both have run well with a start. Olsen has been solid, Watson has run both of his vastly more experienced team mates hard in races.

They have both had decent rookie years in 450, against a backdrop of Covid IMO.

Also both of them are racers, so the short qualifying format , and no qualy race has hurt them hard, as well as a relative lack of track time on most of the tracks compared to everyone else on a 450.
