Anyone know what happened with Sean Cantrell? The team started SX with Derek Drake, Jon Short, Schwartz and Cantrell.

I think Short was SX only but haven't heard anything on Cantrell unless I missed something.

Yep, can’t be successful on a Suzuki, a kid who was relatively unknown two years ago could never ride one and consistently be top 20, routinely break into the top 10 now.

Guys who have basically had a factory ride their whole lives, would be committing career suicide if they decided to ride one, especially after basically getting beat by one at literally every round outdoors this summer. LOL Say what?

Dylan has proved time and time again the bike is good, and fast out of the gate. You curmudgeon’s that bag on them are lame and likely have never owned, rode or raced one.

I'm pretty sure that I heard Brooks was the one that approached Watson. I may be wrong though.

I had an RMZ 250 and the thing was really good. Fast and predictable. I honestly like it more than the yz250f, sure that YZ motor is better but it also feels a lot wider and the front tire feels stuck to the ground, the RMZ is what a dirt bike should like under you IMO.

Im a Suzuki guy funnily enough. Cant beat Suzukis nimble cornering abilities.

Dilan Schwartz is clearly a stand out talent & he would no doubt perform better on a Yamaha.

It all comes down to power in that class.

Nice bench racing lads, love it.

They both seem lovable in their own ways. I hope they build the team into something good, but I’ll keep my popcorn near just in case anyway.

Suzuki fan, explains his favorite thing about the bike, then honestly states where the other bike is better and is a better bike for the class and the Suzuki rider would do better on the Yamaha and gets two jackwagons downvoting.

Other than the Vitards that pop up it is good bench racing Kiwi.

At Red Bud 2020, the RMZ was the only 250 besides star racing that jumped the leap.

If you were riding for Bar X Suzuki and were looking for a better paying job, would you say your bike rips and it’s competitive.

Or would you follow the media’s narrative of the RMZ is a pile and you need a better bike.

I’m sorry guys but I really don’t think Schwartz would be winning on a Yamaha. I think he is doing a bad ass job on a bike that isn’t holding him back.

Would love to have you explain this in detail (in your opinion). Can go by area on the bike as well, as to why it is a pile compared to each other bike.

Chassis?

Motor?

reliability?

Cost of ownership?

Miscellaneous thoughts?

Suzuki has more moto wins than KTM the last 2 years. Suzuki has more moto wins than Kawasaki the last 2 years. Suzuki has more moto wins than GASGAS the last 2 years.

All in the 250 class.

I think Carson Mumford will be a 8-15 guy regardless. He has the talent but not sure if the drive is fully there. Good luck to him and team next year.

Chassis:
This thread has caused me to realize its not a bad bike in stock trim - maybe first in the field of stock bikes.

Motor:
-For pro racing - IMO it comes down to the motor - if you are pro and want every advantage you can get - Suzuki basically has the worst record of making designs that can create top class hp.
-Im sure LB in conjunction with his neighbor can make it a fire breathing dragon - however history will likely repeat and it will have more limitations than the other brands.

Reliability:
Pretty sure Suzukis turn so well because everything is flexible lol. All their proprietary components are a little bit softer than the competition in a crash / loss of fluid etc situation.

Cost of ownership:
Winner winner chicken dinner - for a non pro-rider its probably the best bike to have - cheap, reliable enough and turns on a dime.

My Suzuki is built like a army tank powered by a small block Chevy.

You’re talking so far out of your ass 😂 one second you hate them the next you own all of them and now you’re back to “maybe they’re not bad in stock trim” lmao. And your “reasons” aren’t even facts just opinions from someone who clearly doesn’t own a Suzuki 😂

The 250 class is all about power, if you start with an RMZ you start at a deficit compared to the rest. Unless the RMZ has more hop up potential than the other bikes that deficit won't be able to be overcome.

I was wondering how anyone could talk about BarX Suzuki for four pages.
I should have guessed the real topic was "How can anybody waste his time riding a yellow turd?"

Troll holeshotted a yellow bike last year.

That twisted development motor is pretty stout compared to other privateer or mid level teams.

No, if he rode dirt bikes he wouldn’t care about the color of the plastics. He would be happy to be on a bike and wouldn’t be on vital bitching about dirt bikes.
