Also that was mud bud. Would be nice to give it a better go around. But honestly i love red bud ride there alot it's only hour twenty away i don't think it's a great track for mxdn.

“The MXoN will be going back to RedBud. We had a long talk but a very very talk with AMA, MX sports the promoter in the US and the FIM also. I think after the last event some years ago it was important to consider going back to the USA and maybe on a more regular basis. We want Motocross to be more connected with the sport over there as well as here. For us it’s important to mix the riders from both places and to see the best so for sure we are very excited to go back there. RedBud is a fantastic place and it was a great success despite the bad weather we had the last time. There was a lot of people and a lot of public so we can’t wait to be there next year. How many MX race facilities are as nice and able to accommodate as large of a crowd as the MXoN “could”or can generate?

How many of them stepped up to the plate?

I am just glad that the MXdN is back in the USA so quickly. Red Bud '18 was still great considering the rain, mud, and the US finishing off the podium.

• B Final win by PR with KDub getting the holeshot! (The crowd went mental)
• KDub and Travis wheeling the start straight together and Travis backflipping the jump on the sighting lap.
• The Lawrence kid from Australia crushing it.
• Contrasting the US and GP riders and amazed at how fast Cairoli maintained speed through the turns.
• The most ex-pros that I have seen in one place in my life. (I watched a group of fans following RC to the tower, I
turn and I am standing next to Brad Lackey who was watching the same thing.)
• The US and International fans and their getups. Some funny shit.
• The camping area parties!!
• The MXdN experience (Been to three and they are the best events that I have been to hands down)

Red Bud is great. I am glad that it is back!

Not disagreeing with any of what you said. Great post, but I think having different tracks and environments would be a positive. The MXoN only comes to the United States a few times so giving it to one track seems unbalanced.

One thing you are forgetting is the ransom they charge to hold the event. I’m sure most promoters are shy about risking their life savings on the event. If they really want to see more tracks (and agree Millville would be a great choice) they need to be more charitable about the fees they charge to host

I don't care where it is. MXoN isn't about where it is but what it is.

They could hold it in the car park of my local grocery store and it would still be epic. Red Bud's as good a place as any.

I’ve been to both Millville and Red Bud for pro nationals for the past 20 years + the recent MXoN. There really is no comparing when talking about an event of this magnitude. Millville is a beautiful facility, but both camping and arriving day of at Red Bud is 10x more convenient thanks to the local geography. Millville can’t really expand too much more than they have, it certainly seems like Red Bud could. For the record, I would love to see the MXoN in MN, but if you look at it on paper Red Bud just makes more sense.

Because they are capable of housing this big of an event and know how to host this big of an event without it bankrupting them. There is money to be made and there is a level of pride that comes with it too, I suppose. The track is great on top of all that. Budds was awesome but they say time and time again that it basically crushed them financially to host it. Whether that’s true or not I don’t personally know but it’s definitely been a crutch they’ve leaned on a lot.

Selfishly I’d love to see Millville have it but I don’t know if it could support that big of a crowd. On national days they fill up the camping and parking lot and often have to rent the neighbors property to field additional parking. Glen Helen would be cool too but they seem to ruin every relationship they have with race promoters so who knows if we’ll ever get to see that.

Yes there is a risk of rain in the Midwest during the fall but it’s not like that was the only wet MXoN as of late and it’s basically a flip of a coin whether it will be a perfect fall weekend in the 70’s or a rainy fall day in the 60s.

I’m ok with Red Bud next year, as long as they don’t dick with the track like they did in ‘18.
Looking forward, I’d like to see Unadilla host in 2027 for the 40th anniversary of the first time MXdN was held

Yeah I agree. Fans from around the world just fly into Chicago and it’s a short drive to the track. Chicago traffic gets the riders andrenelin pumping. The most European,s in America live in Chicago. It red Bud advertised in Chicago they would get another 150k at the race. A lot of them are into racing.
