I am looking for a mid priced helmet that works well for a person that wears glasses.

I would love to hear your opinions.

This doesn't answer your question- but prescription goggles:
https://pro-vue.com/prescription-dirt-goggles/

Also, there are expert reviews of safety equipment- the opposite of anonymous message board comments.
Look for the certifications (ECE 22.06).

Bell Moto 9 Flex for me, bought on clearance so not sure if that classifies it as mid priced lol.

Unless you have a weird, strange-fitting helmet, I'd bet the real difference is to be made with your frames and the goggles you choose. For the most part, you should be able to put glasses on while wearing any helmet.
Look for small frames and large goggles. Cool

Fly helmets have s good sized eye opening, I have an F2 that I was using with Fox Vue goggles and a small framed pair of eyeglasses, worked great!
A few months ago I got a pair of those prescription goggle inserts, they work really well, but they’re kind of a pain to switch from one pair of goggles to another, all the ventilation slots in the goggles makes it easy to tear the foam with the inserts if you’re not careful.

I've seen a few people post about these clip in glasses for goggles. Hope this helps and is possibly an option for you.

Firstly, I mainly ride offroad(single track, woods, whatever), and I wear a TLD SE4. I have tried quite a few goggles: 100% Accuri v1, Leatt 5.5, FMF Powerbomb OTG, VSN 2.0 and I prefer the 100% Accuri v1. I run a dual pane vented lens to keep the sweat off my glasses and that works pretty well. Ive also ripped away a little bit of the top goggle foam to help with venting when riding slow technical sinlge track. Good luck finding something that fits your needs.

I've found the bell moto 9 and mx 9 to work well with glasses. Pair them up with Oakley 02 or Front line goggles

Another +1 for using goggles. I love my Oakley L frame.

My frames are quite small, bows are just Ti Wire. I have looked into getting prescription goggles but with progressive lens they get pretty spendy.

Get pro-vue goggles! Better vision and safer if you crash. IMO I’ve had great luck with fly helmets combined with pro-vue goggles.

Prescription goggles are probably far above where they were 15-20 years ago. Definitely run plastic frames if you stick with glasses. I ran glasses with both the Fox V3 and Bell Moto 9 when I needed to. The smaller the glasses frame the better. You don't want a headache from the glasses being pushed against your head, they suck.

Have you tried a solid pair of goggles with contacts? I started going that route while racing WORCS in 08. Only time I had an issue is when I put one in the wrong way and it fell out mid jump. Was not fun. I know not everyone likes wearing contacts, but is a good option if you wear them.

Get contact lenses and you'll have a better field of vision than with glasses.

I run the Scott OTG (over the glasses) I get them pretty cheap online. Been using them for 20+ years so I don't know any different.
