I sent you a PM too, but I know vital pm's can be tough so you may not have seen it.
Answered your PM. Check emails and yes I know them.

Big Springs MX. Check Instagram to see if he open this weekend tho. If you wanna go just over GA border is Highland Park near Cedartown, GA. They always open. Trail-riding mostly but they try with a few mx tracks.

As a few others have said Monster Mountain is a great place. Cowboy Heaven is a pretty sweet track too. Crossbones Mx is in the area too. The owners of Crossbones were super cool and let us ride on a Monday when no where else was open during the week. Had a fun time even with no prep.

Alabama had a lot of rain last week from the tropical storm. This week I would think the dirt will b primo.

Seems like Monster is racing. So that leaves Shorter Al MX park, War eagle MX, possibly Cowboy Heaven. I think most of those places are event only anyways.

I'm really looking for a sandy place to shred within the circle of pic related. Any help is appreciated (:
Bonus likes for pictures of said tracks.

Shorter mx is an awesome place, Has some good sand as well.

Monster is by far the best. War Eagle MX is sandy, but its pretty small and is really just a practice track, not that that is a bad thing. The guys that run it are awesome and they prep the track great.

I second Crossbones and War Eagle.

It's been a few years since I lived there but the owners of Crossbones are really cool. I've been out there a few times and ridden completely alone, just slipped my money in their mailbox by the road.

War Eagle is bigger (not as big as Monster) and if they still do it, they have Wednesday night practices which is cool.

Check out crossbones mx in billingsley AL it’s pretty sandy nothing sketchy and he has a full sprinkler system and will turn it on and water whenever it gets dusty so the track stays perfect

Everywhere by me sucks, its exhausting. I'm from florida so the conditions we like are similar, and I'm expecting a good track. I'm weighing the options of working my tail off to get to ride or just dropping it all together. Nothing worse than a ton of work for disappointment..
If you're going to make a trip that far down, just go to florida. Start at WW and work your way down. Otherwise it seems like you've already got all the good tracks! hahaha

All other tracks mentioned are closed. I also do not have a ton of interest in riding a dusty rock hard clay track either. The dirt here is the nations worst lol. Apparently there's a track opening in dyersburg soon but his last fb post was in april. I check weekly.

I also ride WKMX pretty regularly since I live about 30 minutes from there. Not a huge fan of the track but the owner seems like a great guy so I like to support it. Acens is a fun track but the practice last time was terrible. They split into over 8 classes! One 15 minutes session every 2 hrs almost it was unbearable. Back40 was a fun track too good turnout big ruts. It was a little wet when I went but turned out nice just wish the tracks had more practice days out here. I’m new to the area so it would be cool to meet some people to ride with.

I'm going to be going down to monster soon for a few days so I'll stop there too. I think for this trip I'm going to stay around Birmingham so I'm not stuck with a 5+ hour ride home on a sunday evening before work. I'm glad you said that about crossbones though because I don't want to do that much travelling and only have ~1 hour of good track because nobody will water.

Foothills MX in Piedmont Alabama is doing a grand reopening on Saturday and I believe it’s a free open ride. Come check it out.

I'm a little confused, its not a track but a motocross sprint? Interesting concept. Have any more info? Looks cool!

It’s a regular Moto track. They just rebuilt it and got a new watering system put in. I should be there all day Saturday helping with track prep.

Where do you see something about a sprint? I’ll try to post more pics later.

The diagrams online make it seem like a time trial/hillclimb setup. I see now. PLEASE post some photos and videos and stuff, that place looks good! I'm really excited about it. I will be down there next chance I get.
