I just got a new bike, and i would like to have the suspension sent out. Any good recomendations? I race XC so are there different manufactuers for that kind of suspension? Thanks!
What bike did you get?
Edit: I would look for a company that is close, that way if I wasn't happy with what I got I could easily take my forks/shock back to get it tweaked. That's the advantage of being close to say Factory Connection.
Showa = Pro Circuit
WP = AEO/REP or Enzo for KYB conversion
I have a 19 CRF and I have been going back and forth trying to decide who would do better with a revalve.
In your opinion is pro circuit better due to overall customer service or overall work?

Ask around at the track or races, every area has a "guy" that people trust, go to that guy. Heck, you can probably tell who it is just by looking at the stickers on forks at the races.
For off road, you can't have a one size fits all setting like the big shops have for most moto guys who send their stuff in, you want to have someone who knows the local terrain, races, etc. to set up your stuff.
PC did my '21 Kawi 450 a few months ago. I am very particular with my feeling and I'm a 200lb A rider so it's hard to get the right bottoming resistance and hold up without being harsh.
PC nailed it first shot. They re-valved, re-sprung, put in new pistons and shock bladder kit. It is some of the best suspension I've ever had, and I've been lucky enough to work with the best tuners and use A-kit stuff in the past.
I didn't have any contacts there, just gave my info and I paid full price. It was about $1,000 all said and done, which is fair considering what they did. I'm stoked.
You can always get someone on the phone. That's a big deal to me. I used PC about 10 years ago and their customer service wasn't very good. But they may be better now.
Since I switch to KTM though been looking at AEO but may just have FC do a spring conversion and call it a day

I’ve used non-local companies for a long time and always felt like I was wasting my money, and either couldn’t really tell a difference or felt like it was worse…and I didn’t want to spend the money to ship it back for them to fix it, so I just dealt with it….I’m a desert racer….desert to a Southern Californian means Lucerne Valley (high speed, big whoops, etc). The desert around me, is slower, more technical, etc….so the out of state shops could never get it right because even though we were using the same words, they meant different things to them.
I gave up on revalves and just ran stock on my last three bikes…but decided to give a local tuner a shot on my 21 YZ450FX….MotoXperts in Spanish Fork Utah (the same company that is supporting Josh Knight at ISDE in Italy). He knew exactly what I was looking for and I just got the suspension back.
One ride on it, on a private single track loop that I’ve ridden hundreds of times on many different bikes…we’ve got a lot of Strava segments on it (since it’s private) and I set PR’s on all but three segments I didn’t stop in the middle of (and those three where my second fastest times. It was better everywhere! Use a local tuner.
I can't even get the sag close to to where it needs to be. It's worth the money for me to have FC take care of it.
I send mine in as soon as I buy the bike so I don't pay for any wear parts.
I'm on my 4th new KX with FC suspension and I'm very happy with the results.
But there's many good choices out there when it comes to suspension.
In Visalia that would be Over The Top Motorsports. He's the only Race Tech certified guy that I'm aware of in the area, he also works with MX Tech, Bud Racing, along with others. He'll even pick the bike up if you'd prefer. Jeff Grodsky 559-936-1697
Yes, I'm biased. He's one of my closest friends.
