Kay De Wolf has just won the second Moto, with a 3rd in the first, for second overall in the World 250cc Motocross Championships round, on the most vicious, demanding of tracks, doing 2 30 minutes plus 2 laps on the same day.

And you'd love to see him at Lorretta's, on a track , that is ( justifiably, given the wide range of ages and skills of competitors) built for Amateurs.......

CC was 10 yards behind the lapper when CC tucked his front wheel. The lapper wasn't even close to him. With a 1-2 start these 2 kids will battle to the last lap. Whoever is out front first wins IMO. They are dead even.

Deegan rode a good race and did what he needed. Not sure how much he had in the tank but lets assume it was something.

Cochran was pushing hard but let's assume he was thinking big picture (not something many 15 year olds do) and a 2nd is just is good as a first in moto 1. TBH I did not see the patented Casey Cochran charge I have seen so many times from him in the past.

Bottom line for me is yes he has something for Deegan if he can start with him. Not an easy task as he really showed his horsepower on the start of the first moto.

Not sure what happened to Cochran but he threw that moto away with that wash out. He must have crashed again after that so i hope he's okay. Regardless, Deegan was amazing for that whole moto until he started playing games with Janik and it bit him....I hope he is okay too. Carnage for both of them.

He didn't triple the whole jump and the Kawi kid clipped him when he was coming down. He just made a mistake and didn't do the whole jump and was looking to make sure he didn't get landed on.

He would have had a much better result had he not played an extreme game of cat and mouse in the berm before that. Glad to see he is okay that could have been real bad.

Curious what happened to Cochran. I saw him get his bike started and appeared to get back in the race so did he crash again or maybe had bike issues from the washout?

Yeah, he was playing games and I'm glad it bit him. I certainly hope he's not hurt but it appeared to me that he had a "how dare you try to challenge me" mentality with Janik.

Some of you people on here with the things you are saying in regards to a 15 year old is sad. Remember we all love the same sport. The eyes he beings to us in the future could be ground breaking if he is sucessful. ie Conor McGregor in UFC. Some of you should really be ashamed. I have never disliked or hated any MX'er cause I respect what it takes for them to get where they are. Everyone of you complaining couldn't lace up his or his Dad's jock. Also the brand Brian Deegan has created over the last 20+ years is remarkable. We should applaud him. As far as saying what they have said about other competitors thats Moto. The champions are Alpha's.

Janik about ate it and was panic revving, Deegan probably looked over like WTF....and he missed a shift or bike messed up on face, he was few bike lengths ahead and looked back knowing he was going to get landed on. Have any of you ever scrubbed, his body position was not in a scrub position, he was about to seat bounce and something happened...geez you guys are ridiculous.

i don't think deegan did anything intentional on the jump itself. i believe he screwed up the corner prior from jacking around with janik then had no gusto for clearing the camel jump.....started looking so he wouldn't get landed on.....then boom got landed on.

That kid is more head strong then a lot of the people on here give him credit for lol. Some people here would crack under a 1/4 of the pressure this kid deals with on a day to day basis. Now that "his competitors" know how to beat him, he can kiss his career goodbye lol. "Come on man" lol. Again, I could give two shits about this kid but come on. He was riding great. God forbid a 15 year kid makes a mistake riding faster than most of on here can go. And yes, I'm sure he's faster than most of us on here. Don't kid yourself lol.

Don't shoot the messenger man....just replaying the facts of what we all witnessed in that moto. Rewatch it again and listen to the commentators, I believe they mentioned something along the lines of "going down while playing games" or similar.

If you read my post you will see I described his amazing ride like no one else on the track, but that was before Janik got in his head.

And yes he has the speed to beat everyone, that was clear. But if his competitors are smart, they will start playing head games with him to see if he cracks like he did today.
