PS4 & PS5 Game Recommendations

So I’m actually about 3 hours into Ratchet & Clank. So far this game is amazing, the visuals are stunning & the load times are non existent. I’ve not once felt a frame drop even when fighting multiple enemies or at high speed when using the hoover boots. This game is what the PS5 was designed for, the future looks very bright for these new generation consoles. Looking at the trophies, it won’t be too hard to get the plat.

I highly recommend this game.

Well, the following news is going to absolutely suck if you're a Grand Theft Auto fan. It looks like GTA6 won't be coming out until 2025.

Playing Assassins Creed Valhalla and not really impressed. I really liked the last Assassins Creed game but this seems like a step back.

It just doesn't flow as well as the last release and kind of has an older GTA feel. But I didn't take into account that you aquire skills and increase your coordination and capabilities so maybe it evolves into better handling characteristics and better attributes. I also feel the combat is lacking so far and the loot seems a bit boring and kind of far and few between. It's not bad but very different than the last which some loved and others didn't.
I really liked Odyssey.

Not sure what all they have planned for GTA 5 still as it's called "expanded and enhanced" version. Obviously upgraded graphics, but maybe more islands? The fact that this game originally released in 2013 on playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and they're still milking it, is absolutely insane. They're still raking in millions on online from these kids buying shark cards and living on that game.

The GTA fan base is massive. It's insane.

I don't know what they have planned for GTA V, but from what I've read about GTA 6 it's apparently going to be set in Vice City and it'll have an evolving/expanding map similar to Fortnite and PUBG.

Same. I got it day 1 on PS3. It's mind boggling how much they're still making off that game. Never would have imagined it hitting PS5 eventually.

I am interested for sure. It is at the top of my favorite game list.
I'm liking Assassins Creed Valhalla a little more than when I started it but it feels like pre Odyssey.

same. got it for Xbox 360 on day one. then it came out for PS4 and i got it again.

i've played through it probably 5 times. my favorite game of all time for sure (RDR and RDR2 right there as well). never did get into the online mode, didn't care for just getting killed every 5 minutes.

i'll be keeping my eyes open for any advancements for GTA5 for sure. and i'm really hoping GTA6 is indeed Vice City. loved that game.

I got into GTA 5 online over covid. Tried to grind it out and make it fun, but most times I found myself being more pissed off than anything. Making money is a grind especially when you have kids in there with flying street bikes and heat seeking missiles just destroying your way of making any money. 4-5 hours worth of work and a couple day wait going up in smoke in seconds from a griefer. Almost forcing you to spend real money to do anything. Doesn't help that a red flag and a target goes out to all other players in the lobby showing your exact location so they can come destroy your shipment as you're tryin to drive a semi from one end of the map to the other. So I opted out after about a week of grinding and getting nowhere.

Rdr2 is amazing. The detail and amount of things you can do in single player mode can keep you having fun for hours. Rockstar knows how to make a hell of a game.

Hopefully they’ll do an upgrade version if you own the PS4 disc but as just about everyone in the world owns the game I can’t see that ever happening.

Been a big fan of the series, even loved Origins. But Odyssey killed it for me - such a grind fest. I was done. It felt cheap, repetitive and a copy of the Greek areas in Origins. I didn’t even buy Valhalla, even though it was the first game I could relate to culturally. They just put tons of repetitive missions and areas on the map and pretend like it is content. There is no AC left anymore.
Went back to playing the Ezio Trilogy, Unity, Black Flag and even Syndicate and had a ball! will keep it there I think, just done with modern AC which I am sad to say.

Been playing a ton of red dead redemption 2 I’m fully hooked on the story

I’m coming off of a farcry 5 binge as well that whole series is pretty cool

This game has been available on PC since 2018 and it's finally being released for consoles on September 29th.



I think it's online multi-player only.

Getting near the end of Assassins Creed Valhalla. Pretty much just running around the world solving mysteries and finding the last of the hidden treasure hordes. It is pretty fun. I feel like I had more fun with Odessey and both are similar but not near as good as Ghosts of Tsushima imo which is still the best of these open worlds for me.

Ghost of Tsushima was fantastic. i'm thinking about doing another play-through just doing the main story straight through. i always go off for hours doing other shit that when i get back to the story i'm kind of disjointed.

i'm doing that now with Red Dead 2 and the story is so much stronger than i remember the first play. the first time i was hunting, doing all side missions, doing the challenges, just so much to do the story always came last.
