Happy 4th y’all! Smoked us a brisket. No pics of the red white and blue (cheese) potato salad, the homemade mac n cheese or the green beans.

Is that Fruity Pebbles French Toast? That sounds amazing! I use to put them on my ice cream all the time.

Steak picanha with homemade chimichurri. All you meat lovers who have never tried this cut, I highly recommend it.

Prepping a pork shoulder for smoking on Wednesday. Unfortunately the only ones I could get were boneless and cut as a roast, but it will make good pulled pork.

4.5 lbs, starting with a basic dry brine of kosher salt and white sugar. Will put a homemade rub on it before it hits the smoker

Awesome! Just finished up our pulled pork with some tacos last night. Made a pineapple jalapeño slaw to top em off. So damn good.

Went a lil wild on the smoker today. Smoked some cajun seasoned shrimp. Chopped up a few shrimp and tossed it in the bacon wrapped jalapeño popper cheese mix. Smoked those too. Smoked some chicken wings and dressed em in a homemade strawberry carolina reaper hot sauce. Smoked a tri tip as I couldn’t waste good smoke. All in all it was a good day on the smoker.

Let’s get some action back in this thread! 😁

I smoked a chicken for dinner last night and thought I’d try the smoked cream cheese craze and it was just ok. Likely won’t make it again.

Also chopped up some jalapeños for some candied jalapeños. They are so easy to make I don’t get why I don’t always have a jar in the fridge.

Its a little weird to be honest. I wasn't the biggest fan but a lot of people enjoy it so maybe I need to give it another go. Pretty simple in it that you just add some rub on all sides and smoke at 225 for 2 hours. I cross hatched it as some other examples I have seen cracked and got messy looking.

Ill have to give it a go next time I got the smoker rollin.

Kids all have strep throat, passed it on to me. Made four cheese texas toast grilled cheese samiches and homemade tomato soup. Found a super simple tomato soup recipe awhile back and now I refuse to eat can tomato soup.

Roasted a pork loin tonight. If you guys have never had pork cooked to medium rare, you have to try it!
