Edit: added Tickle.
I agree with this 100%, couple thoughts/question tho.... Did JA have an offer to stay at Husky, and decided to go to Kawi anyway? JA is not in the salary (and one could say results) range any of those guys above, is he taking a massive cut to go to Kawi?

I never left.

I replied where necessary.

My thinking is that he jumped to Kawasaki because he needed a job...and saw that perhaps Husky had switched their attention to Zacho as the #1 rider, and they weren't offering him any contract to stay. That could be totally wrong...but, whatever. Hewitt was his mentor, through thick (lots of thick) and thin. With Bobby gone...I think Jason lost his happy place.

You’re thinking is the equivalent of playing darts with your eyes closed. The assumptions made around here are mind blowing

So is your apparent need for validation.

No it’s just mind boggling some of the things that get posted without a single critical thought involved. Your thought was JA was either going for a money grab, or Kawi thought he was going to win the title. Absolutely no room for any other possibilities.

It'll be interesting to see how he fits in over there. I saw that team as a stuffy tucked in shirt outfit.

Maybe Untucked will come onboard ...

Yes I'm a marketing genious.

Imagine being Jason with 2 or 3 good offers on the table...

Now, what if you're just lookin' to change things up a little bit...?
Maybe you are lookin' for some sort of 'fresh start', maybe?

The point is, a rider can have all sorts of reasons for moving on or looking for change. Same goes for the teams.

Get out of here with common sense. Their has to be more to it! Did you listen to the latest podcast? I did, I’m an insider for the next 20 minutes. But I can’t tell you what I heard.

Well since you are so hungry for critical thought...perhaps you'd like to add some. That way we can all be enlightened. Actually, it's mind boggling that you would be so critical of the posts others (including myself) offer without adding your own higher level of thinking.

But since you missed it the first time
Clearly.

Not every rider is hired with the expectation they will win/contend for the championship. Kawi probably sees him as a top ten guy that will give some good exposure for the brand as his following is pretty large. And I see him and AC getting in better the AC Tomac. I think the bike will fit him well being a rear wheel steering kind of guy.

Plenty of riders get hired that aren’t championship contenders. Deano, mookie, Brayton, Grant when he was on Kawi with Eli.

I like Jason, really like his style on a bike. Plus being a Kawi guy a heart i'd love see him on the bike if the talk is true. I want AC to do good to but I think JA will win a sx before AC.

If JA was out there on a Rupp Roadster he’d still be a favorite of mine. He’s a lot of fun to watch.

Yep! I like his shirt untucked (not because he untucked it), flopping in the draft hanging off the back style also.

Riders move for various reasons... I'm cool with JA21 on green.

I'm just wondering when he gets the big contract with Untuckit, he's a perfect fit. Smile

JA is a solid rider. Sometimes a team change can reinvigorate a rider and give them a breath of fresh air and re-motivate them. Kawi might be intending to sign JA as a bridge to when Forkner moves up and frankly I can't think of a better rider to sign considering the timing and situation. No doubt AC is and will be the #1 guy going forward but like I said, this buys time for Forkner while Kawi gets to maintain having 2 riders always in the top 10, maybe top 5.

That's kinda how I see it too, except I think it's a bit more mutual than just Kawi using him as a placeholder until Forkner moves up...I think Anderson's also using Kawi as a decent ride until Bobby Hewitt gets his new team up and running.

Vital is all about 'mind-blowing' assumptions right?

This is simply 'bench racing' and just for fun. Nothing more.
