Just looking for recommendations on knee guards ??

Going to swap out my knee braces for guards and see how I get on.

Can’t get hold of the TP199 guards those are sold out everywhere.

I got rid of my Asterisk knee braces several years ago and bought a set of Fox Titan Pro knee pads, and I have been very happy with them. I’m on my second set.

2nd the Fox Titan Pro's...I"m on my third set.

When you buy guards...if you buy ones that you have to use Velcro to take them on and off, the Velcro will eventually wear out way before the rest of the guard. The Fox Titan Pro's are adjusted for size (once) with Velcro, and then you take them on and off with a plastic clip.

Before I wore tp199s I wore the really cheap 20 dollar evs pads and never had a problem with them. They where actually more comfortable than the tp199 ones. Just a little bit different feel.

I’m in England so trying to get the TP199 guards is impossible unfortunately

I wear the 199's and they're great. I hope the knee pad market takes notice and starts to focus more on the development of those to help bridge the gap with braces. The Oneal ones I posted are more comfortable but the insides of my knees get beat up a lot more, where the 199's have enough padding.

Here's a link I found but I don't know how much that helps over seas.
