Why can’t a guy give it his all and yeah he came up short again. But why can’t the effort be respected?

Only one person can win. That shouldn’t take away from being able to respect the other athletes.

It's salt lake at high altitude, he struggled alot here last year apart from that weird win. Why doesn't the rest of the field get slagged off like Kenny does. He showed he's the one to beat speed wise this season and has been beat by one other guy in the championship but if Kenny isn't winning he's getting pure shit of people online

That's the problem he repeatedly shows hes head and shoulders above everyone else pretty much every time he lines up and then anytime Webb gets near him he folds like a styrofoam cup.
As a fan I've been rooting for Kenny to pull off a 450sx title since his rookie season in 2014 .....he was on his way with RCH till Oakland, he started off on fire in 2017 then a devastating injury, 2018 the tangle with Webb that ended his season with another big injury which was the start of his Webb as Kryptonite....2019 he gets his first win back. 2020 he was in the hunt till he imploded at the final rounds in SLC and this year he basically had the title handled till Webb started getting close to him and he easily handed over 3 wins this season alone to Webb, not to mention the insurmountable amount of points he's given up over the last 4 rounds and 4 races ago I don't think anybody would believe you if you said that going into the final round Web have almost a full race lead and nearly clinched the title a round early.

It's just years of frustration disappointment no doubt he probably has plenty of that too but as fans, it's so disappointing to watch the rider you've cheered for be so easily rattled and fall apart by the presence of one rider ....the same rider year after year.

He said "what do you want me to do"...TWICE. It was a threatened, panicked response, showing he feels completely backed into a corner by the pressure. He is obviously very, very stressed out and upset by how this championship is playing out, and it is doing his performance no favors.

Webb was no where near him when he crashed last two weeks.
