Replace the ready to fail plastic oil pump gears with Aluminum Oil Pump gears. These are what you need to bulletproof your modern KTM or Husky. Don't let your engine die due to melting, tooth losing OEM plastic gears.

185.00 Shipped in the US, international contact me for shipping prices.

My buddies 2016 KTM 350 with under 3 hours. Gear was built like chit, well I guess it’s light. Thanks KTM.

If I had a KTM, I would order a set.

Yes the 450 does have some plastic gears in the lower end, we are in testing right now for LA replacements.

In the picture of the 2016 Husky did metal go through the whole thing and kill the gears and bearings or did plastic off the gears plug up the passages and take out the bearings? It looks like there are no missing gear teeth so the oil pump should still be working.

Sometimes you don't get total failure before it kills the bike. You start getting plastic shavings that get around the oil filter and screens and plug the top end oil jets. It think kills the top end soon followed by the bottom end.

It’s a KTM not a Husky.

Buddy got screwed over by KTM and the shop in Santa Barbara. $8000 pile of crap.

I, and others, will be very interested when you have the AL gears available for the 450s!

It's strange how some have issues right away and others stay working fine for a couple hundred hours.

That would lead me to believe there is flash on some gears that is breaking off and clogging oil passages or the gears are not the issue. When I first heard of the gear issue I assumed they were losing teeth and not driving the oil pump.

The small gear gets weak and takes out the larger idler ... This is plastic running in super heated oil.

Do the cross country versions of the Austrian bikes also come with the plastic gears ? Off-roading is when I get my bikes real hot. I haven’t heard of this issue , but now have concern. Thanks

Are you still seeing the same issue with the superceded part number for the 20-21’s? I have a 19 350 that I swap to new part number at 3hrs just in case.

Yes we see it on even the new 250/350s, we will not repair a 250/350 without replacing the plastic gears.
